By Anil Merani| If there is one Bigg Boss 16 contestant who is impressing one and all with his gentlemanly behaviour, it is Shalin Bhanot.
His 2015 divorce from Dalljiet Kaur had tarnished his name as she had levelled severe allegations of domestic violence against him.
We have no third-party info on whether the above allegations were true or false; we will stick to what we see in Bigg Boss.
He is behaving very sweetly with his excellent friend Sumbul Touqeer who he calls a kid. Not wanting to be linked with him, he wants to maintain a distance from her, which she is not liking.
He also wants to play the game fairly despite Shiv Thakere playing underhanded in the captaincy task. The latter put dumbbells in his tokri, forcing him to drop it lest he hurt himself.
He told Shiv that he would get back, which is fair enough.
Shalin is also very polite and friendly with all, especially the TV crowd. He has a great rapport with Tina Datta, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Gautam Vij.
Interestingly we have not seen him talk much with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta.
He maintains his distance from MC Stan and Archana Gautam.
He is cordial with Sajid Khan.
Some allege in the media that Shalin, like Sajid Khan, is trying to act sweet to clean his lousy image.
Daljit had come in #BiggBoss 13 but did not last long. In a past interview with me, she said both had buried the hatched and wished him all the best.
