The episode starts with Jagathi saying to Rishi and Vasudhara that they should decide their relationship themselves. Vasudhara says it is in Rishi’s hands right now and she can’t go against his decision. Mahindra asks Rishi to wear that Mangalsutra on Vasudhara’s neck right away. Rishi says they need some time to decide.
In the room, Jagathi recalls what Devayani did and complains to Mahindra that Devayani tried to create more distance between Rishi and Vasudhara. Mahindra says Devayani doesn’t like Vasudhara so she wanted to separate them. Jagathi says it’s good that Phaneedra saw Devayani entering Rishi’s room otherwise misunderstandings between them may increase more. Mahindra agrees.
Phaneendra admonishes Devayani’s behaviour and says he doesn’t like what she did. Devayani says she did what she had to do for Rishi. Phaneendra says it is not the right way. Devayani makes a comment and says she hopes that Rishi and Vasudhara will get together soon. Devayani in her heart hopes Rishi will not agree and throw Vasudhara out of this house. Dharani thinks Devayani did all this intentionally to seperate Rishi and Vasudhara.
Vasudhara thinks what will Rishi’s decision be. Rishi says to Vasudhara that they should not be suspicion in love and says there should only be trust. Rishi asks Vasudhara where is the ring? Vasudhara says it might have fallen in her room. Rishi and Vasudhara search for the ring in the room. Rishi and Vasudhara find the ring. Vasudhara says to Rishi it is a symbol of their love and they should not lose it no matter what. Rishi agrees. Vasudhara asks Rishi to put the ring on her finger. Vasudhara brings Rishi to his room and show their love momento. Rishi wears the ring in the Mangalsutra and puts it on their love momento saying he will wear this Mangalsutra when the time is right and they are both ready for it.
Rishi brings Vasudhara to the hall and calls for everyone. Devayani, Dharani, Mahindra, Jagathi and Phaneendra come to the hall. Rishi says to everyone how much he struggled to take this decision. Rishi says to Devayani that he wants to marry Vasudhara. Vasudhara feels elated hearing this. Mahindra couldn’t believe Rishi’s decision and asks Rishi to confirm again. Rishi says yes and says he wants to marry Vasudhara. Jagathi says thanks Rishi saying she wanted to hear these words for a long time. Rishi asks Devayani to call the Pandit to fix their marriage date. Devayani says to Rishi that he has to wait for a while to call the Pandit saying this is inauspicious month and says they have to wait until this month is over. Rishi agrees. Rishi and Vasudhara decide to go out and leave from there.
