The episode starts with Rishi thinking he should put an end to the distance between Rishi and Vasudhara. He decides to accept Vasudhara as his wife. On another side, Vasudhara thinks about what decision Rishi is going to take and sleeps. She dreams Devayani says to Jagathi ‘She won’t accept Vasudhara as Rishi’s wife.’ Jagathi says we accepted Vasudhara and we don’t need your opinion.’ they argue. Vasudhara holds her nuptial chain in fear.
The next day, Devayani thinks about her position in the house if Rishi accepts Vasudhara as his wife. She thinks she can’t bear it and she decides to learn what happened in the college through Vasudhara. She goes to meet Vasudhara. Rishi thinks Vasudhara must have her nuptial chain. Devayani comes to Vasudhara’s room. She noticed Vasudhara is in the washroom and finds Vasudhara’s Mangalsutra stuck to the bed. Devayani takes the Mangalsutra and decides to use it to separate Rishi and Vasudhara. She leaves taking mangal sutra. Rishi thinks he will end the distance between him and Vasudhara by apologising to her and he thinks he is relaxed as he got answers to his questions. Devayani comes there. Rishi doesn’t see her and thinks Vasudhara came to his room and says I’m waiting for you. Devayani leaves placing the nuptial chain on the bed. Rishi turns and sees mangal sutra on the bed and gets mad. Vasudhara comes out of the bathroom and sees Rishi’s message that he wants to share the good news with her. She feels happy.
Rishi calls Vasudhara loudly. Everyone comes to the hall. Vasudhara asks why he looks angry as he messaged to share the good news. Rishi says I thought to clear the distance between us but you broke my heart again. Vasudhara explains to Rishi that she didn’t do anything wrong. Rishi shows the mangal sutra to Vasudhara and questions Vasudhara about why did she break off this Mangalsutra. Vasudhara gets shocked by Rishi’s question. He asks why she removed her mangalsutra when he was alive. He asks if she wants to break their relationship. Vasudhara asks him to not accuse her without knowing the truth. Rishi demands her to answer why her nuptial chain reaches his room. Vasudhara says she is unaware of it. She says last night I had a nightmare and during the struggle, it may be removed.
Jagathi tries to calm Rishi but Rishi doesn’t calm down. Rishi says he heard Vasudhara coming to his room and says she left this in his room. Phaneendra says to Devayani that he saw her going into Rishi’s room and asks Devayani if she kept the Mangalsutra in Rishi’s room. Devayani says she kept the Mangalsutra in Rishi’s room saying she found the Mangalsutra in Vasudhara’s room.
Devayani says Rishi is feeling sad that he didn’t wear Mangalsutra on Vasudhara so she decided to make Rishi wear the Mangalsutra on Vasudhara so she put it there. Vasudhara says to Rishi that she misunderstood her for a small thing. Rishi says this is not misunderstanding but his pain thinking of losing her. Vasudhara says she will stay with him until his last breath. Jagathi says to Rishi and Vasudhara that they should decide their relationship themselves. Vasudhara says it is in Rishi’s hand right now. Mahindra asks Rishi to wear that Mangalsutra on Vasudhara’s neck right away.
