The episode starts with Bharathi meeting Kannamma and telling her that Soundarya accepted him. Kannamma is happy to hear this.She asks how it happened. Barathi says that he followed Kannamma’s idea. He tells her what happened. He gives credit to Kannamma. He then says that Soundarya agreed to celebrate her birthday, which surprises Kannamma. She asks how he convinced Soundarya. Barathi says that Soundarya agreed for her birthday celebration when he promised to quit alcohol. He adds that Soundarya is on the way. Kannamma says that they haven’t made any arrangements. Barathi says that he did it.
Kannamma, Barathi, Madhu and Dhandapandi are waiting to welcome Soundarya. Madhu and Dhandapandi praise Kannamma, saying her idea convinced Soundarya to accept Barathi and to celebrate her birthday. Kannamma asks them to be quiet. Soundarya reaches there with her family. Kannamma welcomes her. Venba fumes in a rage at seeing this. Barathi welcomes Soundarya by making her wear a garland.
Then, Kannamma and Barathi call the children. The children wish Soundarya on her birthday and wish her by giving a rose and kissing her on the cheek. Venba gets irked at seeing this. Venba and Sharmila want to leave as the birthday celebration is over. Barathi says that the celebration has just started. Barathi closes Soundarya’s eyes with his hands and takes her to the auditorium. Soundarya is surprised to see the cake-cutting arrangements. She says to Barathi that she’s not a kid to cut cake. Sharmila asks Barathi why he is forcing Soundarya when she doesn’t want to cut cake. Barathi asks her to be quiet. Barathi convinces Soundarya to cut the cake.
Soundarya cuts the cake. She feeds Barathi and Anjali the cake. She also feeds the cake to Kannamma and she feeds it to her back. Soundarya wants to leave. But Barathi stops her. Barathi says that he wants Soundarya to celebrate her birthday the way she used to celebrate when Venugopal was alive. He says that he made arrangements so that Soundarya could distribute clothes to their school staff. He further says that then they should have fun with music and dance. Venba and Sharmila are shocked and annoyed that Barathi pre-planned the activities of the whole day. Venba wants to leave. But Sharmila asks her to impress Soundarya using this occasion.
Barathi goes to Dhandapandi and asks if he has got all the clothes to distribute to the staff are ready. Dhandapandi says yes. Dhandapandi reminds Barathi that he told him that he would get a saree for Kannamma and asks if he bought it. Barathi shows it. Dhandapandi says that it’s a good choice. He assures Barathi that he and Kannamma have a connection, so this saree will definitely go to Kannamma. Barathi says to let see. He places the saree that he bought for Kannamma among the other clothes.
Barathi and Dhandapandi take the clothes outside. Barathi announces that Soundarya will distribute the clothes to the staff. Soundarya begins to distribute the clothes. Kannamma is also standing in the queue. Venba sees this and thinks that no matter what Kannamma does, she will remain a staff member only. She smirks. Dhandapandi notifies Barathi that Kannamma is standing in the 12th position in the queue and her saree is also kept in the same position, so, she will get that saree. Barathi is happy thinking that Kannamma and he are destined to be together.
