The episode starts with Kannamma standing in the queue to receive the dress from Soundarya’s hand. Dhandapandi is sure that Barathi’s saree will reach Kannamma.To Barathi and Dhandapandi’s shock, Madhu comes from no where and stands in front of Kannamma. She is given the saree bought by Barathi. The latter takes Dhandapandi aside. He says to him that Kannamma didn’t get his saree, so she’s not his life partner and the test result is failure. Dhandapandi tries to convince Barathi that Kannamma would have got that saree if Madhu hadn’t disrupted the queue. Barathi refuses to accept it and asks him not to talk to him about it again.
Everyone is gathered in the auditorium. The kids give a special performance on the occasion of Soundarya’s birthday. Soundarya and Barathi enjoy the dance performance, while Venba and Sharmila get annoyed. Madhu announces that next Kannamma and other school staff will give a performance. Barathi is surprised when Kannamma comes wearing the saree he bought it. He is mesmerized to see Kannamma’s performance.
Barathi wonders how Kannamma got his saree when the saree was given to Madhu. He asks Dhandapandi if he told her about it. Dhandapandi assures him that’s not the case. Sharmila praises Kannamma’s dance skills, but Venba criticizes her dance. She says that Kannamma forgot the steps and she is copying other dancers. Soundarya hears this and says it doesn’t seem so. Soundarya also praises Kannamma’s dance skills. She likes her dance. Barathi is delighted that his saree reached Kannamma, which confirms that there’s a divine connection between them.
Venba calls out to Madhu. She asks Madhu to announce that she’s going to perform. Madhu obliges. Kannamma stops Venba and asks her to remove her heels before dancing so that she doesn’t fall during the dance. Venba ignores Kannamma’s advice and gets on the stage. Venba begins to dance. Her leg trips and she falls down. Madhu, Kannamma and Dhandapandi laugh. Sharmila rushes to help Venba. Sharmila scolds Kannamma for mocking Venba.
Barathi and Dhandapandi stop Madhu and ask her how Kannamma wore the saree that she got. Madhu asks how they know about it. Barathi tells a lie. He urges Madhu to tell how her and Kannamma’s saree got exchanged. Madhu says that she already has four sarees in the same color and the saree that Kannamma got didn’t suit her, so they exchanged the saree. After Madhu leaves, Dhandapandi says to Barathi that he is certain that there’s a connection between Barathi and Kannamma, so they were successful in their second test too.
Sharmila, Venba and Vijay discuss Barathi. Sharmila says that they can’t take over control of Soundarya’s property if Barathi stops drinking alcohol. Sharmila scolds Venba for not acting as smart as Kannamma, who learned about Barathi’s love for his dad and won his heart by playing his dad’s audio file. Sharmila further says that Kannamma also won Soundarya’s heart by convincing her to celebrate her birthday. Vijay is sure that Barathi can’t keep his promise and will drink alcohol again. Sharmila says that she doesn’t think so, as he seemed serious this time. Vijay and Sharmila ask Venba to do something to stop Kannamma from influencing Barathi and to make Barathi drink alcohol again. Venba assures them that she will do something to force Kannamma to leave this place.
