By Smita Pal| GECs are going through a big revamp, with a lot of shows going off air for failing to gain TRPs, and lots of new shows are in the pipeline that will soon go on air.
Colours TV recently terminated two of its newly launched shows, Molkki 2 and Durga Aur Charu, within six months of their launches because they failed to generate TRPs for the channel.
Now, Colours is all set to launch a new show in collaboration with Sunshine Productions. The show is yet to be titled.
As per sources, Bengali actress Debchandrima Singha Roy has been roped in for the upcoming serial on Colors. Following Debattama and Adrija, Debchandrima is the third actress to make her Hindi television debut after finding considerable success in the Bengali industry.
Debchandrima has previously acted in well-known shows named Kajallata, Sanjher Baati, and Shaheber Chithi.
Rajveer Singh will be playing the lead role opposite Debchandrima. He has previously acted in Kya Qasoor Hai Amala Ka?, Sufiyana Pyaar Mera, Qurbaan Hua, and Rajjo.
Well, the show is set to go on air in a couple of months, and a formal announcement will be made soon.
It will be interesting to watch a fresh pair on television.
