The episode begins with Ayush expressing his feelings to Shalu, declaring that it’s time he shares what’s in his heart. Karishma tries to interrupt him, reminding him that they are celebrating Lohri, not a casual bonfire for such discussions. Ayush brushes off her remarks, saying he should have done this long ago. Neelam too objects, stating that this is not the appropriate occasion and they should focus on the festival. However, Rishi and Harleen support Ayush, with Rishi questioning why expressing feelings during Lohri is wrong. Neelam insists that such actions go against traditions, and Ayush agrees to step aside.
Taking Shalu to a quiet corner, Ayush kneels and proposes to her. Meanwhile, Rishi jokes with Lakshmi, asking if there’s something wrong with Ayush. Lakshmi responds that Ayush is better than Rishi, leaving him slightly amused.
Ayush confesses his love for Shalu and asks her to marry him. Shalu, taken aback, hesitates and asks Ayush if they can discuss this later. Ayush, insistent, asks why it can’t be decided now.
In a parallel scene, Anushka and Neel plot to steal a necklace. They notice Varsha placing it in a cupboard and decide to act when she leaves.
Returning to Ayush and Shalu, Ayush presses her for an answer, saying that if he could express his feelings in front of everyone, she could too. Shalu firmly declines, stating that her decision won’t change, even if they discuss it privately. She makes it clear she cannot marry him.
Karishma is shocked by Shalu’s refusal and questions her decision. Rano, however, mocks Karishma, pointing out her hypocrisy—first objecting to Shalu accepting the proposal and now being upset about the rejection. Rano accuses Karishma of arrogance, saying Shalu shattered their pride by rejecting Ayush.
Meanwhile, Anushka and Neel successfully steal the necklace but decide to wait for Neel’s friend before leaving.
The celebration is interrupted when Kiran complains to Neelam about the stolen necklace. Malishka pretends to be concerned, while Kiran accuses someone present of the theft and threatens to file a police complaint if the necklace isn’t returned.
