In today’s episode, Anupama wishes Happy Independence Day to Manohar, Jignesh, and Hasmuk. She asks Hasmuk where he went. Hasmuk tells Anupama that he went to the flag hoisting at the society. Anupama asks Hasmuk why he didn’t inform her. Hasmuk says he thought Anupama might be practicing dance. Anupama remembers celebrating Independence Day. She then talks about Ansh’s marriage. Jignesh asks whose marriage and then decides that he too should get married. He says he is not too old. Manohar and Hasmuk make fun of Jignesh. Anupama decides to attend the flag hoisting nearby and also visit the temple.
Anupama spots a lady preparing her son for Independence Day. She feels happy. The lady throws waste on the road. The sweeper asks the lady to throw the waste in the bin. The lady replies that it is the sweeper’s job to clean it. Anupama schools the lady and lectures her on treating cleaners with respect, as they work hard to keep the city neat and clean. The boy understands Anupama’s words, picks up the waste, and throws it in the bin. The sweeper, the boy, and a little girl salute Anupama. Anupama celebrates Independence Day.
Pari tells Pari and Mahi that Ansh has sent Rakhi pictures. Pari says that after a long time they celebrated together. Rahi stops at Anupama’s picture. Pari asks Rahi if she is jealous seeing Anupama happy around the dance ranis. Rahi denies it and says she isn’t affected by Anupama and her new family.
Anupama prepares haldi for Ansh and Prarthana’s ceremony. Bharti asks Anupama about getting emotional. Anupama remembers Samar and thinks about how Ansh is now getting married. Bharti tells Anupama that they celebrate Independence Day at the chawl. She further says that Prarthana’s family should attend her wedding.
Prarthana thinks about the Kotharis. Anupama asks Prarthana to try convincing her family. Prarthana says she feels helpless as she fails to make the Kotharis understand her love for Ansh. Anupama encourages Prarthana to talk to the Kotharis. Prarthana asks Anupama to come along with her.
Parag asks Gautam to go back home. Gautam says Parag is sending him back so that he doesn’t create drama at Prarthana’s wedding. Prarthana and Anupama visit the Kotharis. The Kotharis get angry seeing them. Rahi questions Anupama for coming with Prarthana. Anupama replies that Rahi should instead question the Kotharis about why Prarthana is afraid to visit them alone.
Prarthana tries to convince the Kotharis to attend her wedding. Vasundhara opposes Prarthana and Ansh’s marriage. Parag, Vasundhara, and Khyati stand against Prarthana. Anupama lectures Parag for not approving of Prarthana and Ansh’s marriage.
