In today’s episode, Anupama questions why girls are not asked before getting them married. She says girls should be given the right to choose before marriage. Prarthana agrees and shares her experience, saying that one day she returned from college only to hear Vasundhara announce that her marriage had been fixed. Prarthana recalls that she had planned to complete her MBA and support Parag. Anupama points out that if families can discuss food choices in a restaurant, then why can’t they discuss their daughters’ marriage decisions beforehand.
Vasundhara feels offended and blames Anupama and Ansh for Prarthana’s divorce. Anupama denies this and instead holds Gautam responsible for Prarthana’s suffering. She says if Prarthana had met Gautam earlier, she would have known his real side. Anupama stresses the importance of marital courtship before marriage, saying that a boy and girl should meet and check compatibility.
Vasundhara is shocked by Anupama’s progressive thoughts. She mocks her, asking if Anupama is encouraging unlimited meetings between boys and girls. Khyati then questions Anupama’s own marriage with Anuj. She says Anupama lived with Anuj before marriage in the name of compatibility. She further taunts that Anupama was not compatible with Vanraj, so what happened with Anuj. Khyati asks Anupama about her own marital courtship with Anuj. Anupama is taken aback. Khyati adds that Prarthana went for counseling to a woman who herself failed in relationships.
Prem tries to stop Khyati, but she tells him not to interfere. Anupama asks Prem to remain quiet and addresses Khyati, saying that if she is so curious about her story, she will tell her another time. Right now, it is Ansh’s marriage, and she doesn’t have much time.
Anupama says if Parag’s second marriage is valid, then Prarthana’s is too. Gautam argues that there is no guarantee Prarthana will be happy with Ansh. Anupama replies that there is one guarantee—that Prarthana will never be happy with Gautam. She delivers a strong lecture on second marriages and women’s independence. Vasundhara remarks that even after gaining independence, Anupama is still struggling. Anupama counters that she is happy because she hasn’t quit despite the struggles. She says she values happiness because she has experienced it in limited measure.
Anupama then invites the Kotharis to Ansh and Prarthana’s marriage. Prarthana also requests everyone to attend. Anupama urges Parag to rethink his decision.
Meanwhile, Leela worries that Anupama and Prarthana went to meet the Kotharis. Pakhi criticizes Anupama for interfering in everything and blames her for the complications. Preet defends Anupama, but Leela scolds both Pakhi and Preet, asking them to stop arguing.
Prarthana grows anxious, fearing that Parag, Vasundhara, and Khyati might not attend her wedding. Anupama consoles her. On her way back home, Anupama checks “Anuj Ki Rasoi” and recalls her past moments with Anuj.

Precap: The Shahs celebrate Prarthana and Ansh’s wedding. Gautam manipulates Vasundhara, asking how Prarthana’s baby can be considered a Shah. Vasundhara and Khyati arrive with some papers for Prarthana. Anupama is left shocked.
