Actor Iqbal Khan has now been finalised to play the male lead, replacing Arhaan Behl, who was earlier in advanced discussions for the role. The development marks a major shift at the final stage of casting for the project, which is set against a medical backdrop.
The show had already generated strong buzz after it was revealed that it would revolve around the professional and personal lives of doctors, a genre that has previously delivered successful content on Indian television. While Arhaan Behl was initially locked in for the lead, the collaboration did not move forward, leading the makers to bring Iqbal Khan on board.
Iqbal Khan is a well-known name in the television industry and has delivered notable performances in shows such as Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai, Na Umra Ki Seema Ho, and Dil Se Dil Tak. His entry has raised expectations, especially given his strong screen presence and experience in handling layered characters.
The female lead is expected to be Kavya Priyam, who was last seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein. An official announcement regarding the complete cast and title is still awaited.
