The episode starts with Adit saying to Mangal that he is really happy that his daughter Ishana will live with the person she wishes to live with, unlike him. He says that he had to spend his life with someone who was forced upon him — Mangal. Mangal looks on silently.
Kusum asks Adit what he is talking about. She says he doesn’t understand the responsibility of a mother and adds that he has failed in his duty as a father. Adit asks why Ishana is upset with Mangal. Kusum says Ishana believes that Mangal is the reason Adit didn’t return and that she thought he was dead because of Mangal. She says Adit is responsible for all of it.
Adit asks her to leave the matter and says Ishana loves Aarav. He says they should let her live happily with him and that he supports her. He then leaves. Kusum tells Mangal that Ishana has chosen her war and they need to support her.
Mangal says she is worried because Ishana and Aarav got married without informing Aarav’s family. She wonders what will happen if Aarav’s family doesn’t treat Ishana well for this reason and says they don’t even know who is in Aarav’s family. Kusum tells her not to worry and asks her to call Ishana and tell her that they want her happiness. Mangal is about to call Ishana when they hear dhol sounds.
They come outside and see Adit playing the dhol with others while welcoming Aarav and Ishana. Mangal says Ishana is here. Adit says it is Ishana’s house and she can come whenever she wants. He says he brought them there because Aarav was planning to take Ishana to his bachelor room since he was confused about his parents’ approval as they were not informed about the marriage. Aarav says he will take Ishana to his room if they are unhappy. Kusum says they are happy and asks Mangal to perform Ishana and Aarav’s grihapravesh.
Mangal welcomes Ishana and Aarav by performing their grihapravesh. Aarav angrily holds Ishana’s hand while recalling that Mangal had slapped him earlier. He hurts Ishana in the process. Ishana’s bangles break and injure her. Mangal angrily confronts Aarav for hurting Ishana. Aarav pretends to be innocent and says it happened by mistake. They then enter the house. Mangal recalls his double standards from the beginning.
Later, Ishana brings tea and places it on the table. Aarav asks why she didn’t serve it to everyone. He says it’s okay and that he will serve it himself. While serving, he is about to spill hot tea on Ishana, but Mangal saves her and gets her own hand burnt. Mangal questions Aarav’s intentions. Aarav says it was a mistake and asks why she is overreacting. Ishana supports Aarav.
Mangal says she clearly saw Aarav trying to hurt Ishana intentionally. Aarav again pretends to be innocent and says Mangal doesn’t want him to stay there, which is why she is behaving this way. He says he will leave the house. Ishana says she will leave with him because they are a couple. Mangal asks Ishana to stop. Ishana says she will stay only if Aarav stays. Mangal then asks Aarav to stay. Aarav apologizes again, calling her “Ma’am,” but Ishana says he doesn’t need to apologize to anyone and takes him to their room.
Adit thinks to himself that he has already lost one daughter and cannot lose Ishana too. He says Ishana’s happiness matters to him and that she accepted him wholeheartedly. He thinks that if Mangal comes in between Ishana’s happiness, he will separate from Mangal.
Later, Ishana asks Aarav to sleep. Aarav notices Mangal standing outside their room. Ishana again asks him to sleep. Aarav says he doesn’t know why her mother keeps accusing him and that he cannot sleep there. Ishana suggests shifting to his flat if he is uncomfortable. Aarav says his flat is small and she cannot live there. He intentionally drags Ishana, causing her to fall.
Mangal enters the room and tries to slap Aarav for hurting Ishana. Ishana says it was a mistake and supports Aarav. Mangal says she saw him intentionally trying to hurt her. Aarav says if Mangal thinks it was intentional, then he will hurt himself and bangs his hand against the wall. Ishana stops him. She warns Mangal to leave the room and says that if she doesn’t, she will never talk to her again. Mangal leaves in tears.
Aarav later comes to Mangal and mocks her. Mangal asks why he is doing all this. Aarav says she slapped him and hurt his ego. He says he can go to any extent to settle the score and warns that in the future her daughter might even slap her. Mangal asks why he is troubling Ishana if his enmity is with her. She asks him to leave Ishana. Aarav says if she gives him 50 lakhs, he will divorce Ishana and leave her. Mangal is shocked.

Precap: Aarav frames Mangal. Adit questions Mangal about how she dared to offer Aarav 50 lakhs to divorce Ishana. Mangal tells Aarav that she will expose his real face to Ishana within 10 days, and Ishana herself will throw him out of her life.
Our Take:
This episode highlights Aarav’s dangerous intentions as he continues to hurt Ishana while pretending it is accidental. Mangal clearly senses his evil motives, but Ishana blindly trusts Aarav and refuses to believe her mother. Aarav’s confession about taking revenge on Mangal and his demand for 50 lakhs reveal his true face. Now it will be interesting to see how Mangal proves the truth when even Adit doubts her.
