Anvita expressed concern to Virat regarding the absence of the contract documents from their residence. Virat reassured her, suggesting they might be at the café and encouraged her to verify their presence there. He also stated his intention to discuss the matter with Percy to potentially alter his decision before departing. Concurrently, Diya’s mother arrived for Diya’s wedding. Hetal attempted to engage in conversation with her, but Diya’s arrival interrupted the interaction.
Diya’s mother informed Hetal and her children that she would manage the wedding arrangements, clarifying that Diya’s cousin, not Anvita, would serve as the maid of honor. Diya then escorted her mother indoors, leaving Hetal and the children visibly disheartened. Concurrently, Virat attempted to contact Percy via telephone, but Percy declined to speak and terminated the call, causing Virat to become distressed. Subsequently, Diya and her mother are observed returning home after a wedding shopping excursion. A male individual absconds with Diya’s bag, prompting Diya and her mother to pursue him. At this juncture, Anvita intervenes, retrieving Diya’s wedding bag from the assailant. Diya expresses her gratitude. Diya’s mother then informs Anvita that she will oversee all wedding preparations and that Diya’s cousin will serve as her maid of honor. Anvita appears distressed by this news. She declines to engage with Diya’s attempts at communication, instructing Diya to proceed as she deems fit, and then departs.
Concurrently, Virat intervenes to prevent Percy from an impending accident, as Percy was observed to be disoriented while walking on the road. Virat counsels Percy to engage in a dialogue with Anvita to resolve his current predicament and additionally informs him about the contractual documents. In the interim, Diya inadvertently burns the meal prepared for Percy, leading to a reprimand from her mother. Diya expresses a desire for Anvita’s presence, believing Anvita would possess a solution to this issue. At that moment, Anvita dispatches food, much to Diya’s delight.
During the night, Percy covertly gained entry into Suhas’s residence via a window. He absconded with contract documents, but his departure was interrupted by Chiku, who began to interrogate him. Percy offered a specious explanation and attempted to depart, but Anvita then appeared and questioned him. Percy provided her with similar pretexts before leaving. A perplexed Chiku then relayed Percy’s statements to Anvita, who reacted with shock.
Upon discovering the absence of her contractual documents, Anvita directly confronted Percy. Percy, however, concealed the papers and feigned ignorance. Diya then entered the situation and expressed her displeasure with Anvita’s accusations against Percy, subsequently challenging Anvita. Anvita reciprocated the challenge, creating a tense atmosphere among all present.
Precap: Percy compelled Anvita to depart from the cafe, leading to the Divekars’ protest outside. Diya then inquired of Anvita, who subsequently defended her actions.
Our take: It seems like Percy’s actions with Anvita are out of helplessness, not his own choice. But his behavior is causing issues between Anvita and Diya. He should tell Diya or someone else the real reason behind what he’s doing so he can get out of this mess.
