The episode starts with Pushpa not allowing Shanaya inside the house and reminding her of the rules of the juvenile home. She closes the door on her face. Shanaya wonders what she should do outside until the next day. She tries to sleep on a bench but cannot because of the noise from people playing carrom. She asks Chirag to stop playing, but he does not respond. She says that his whole family is against her and asks when they will stop troubling her. She warns that if he doesn’t stop playing, she will throw the carrom board. Chirag stops her, saying not to touch the board, and warns that if she does anything, he will not spare her, as the carrom board was gifted to him by Prathna. He then leaves. Shanaya goes back to the bench and sleeps. Later, Pushpa opens the door, sees Shanaya sleeping on the bench, covers her with a blanket, and leaves.
The next day, the chawl residents clean the area. Shanaya wakes up feeling irritated. Rashi wishes Pushpa a happy Gudi Padwa, and Pushpa wishes her back. Pushpa says she is glad that Radha Kaku kept a traditional dress code and that everyone looks good. Shanaya enters the house and asks if she can come in now. Pushpa says yes and tells her to get ready in Maharashtrian style for Gudi Padwa, mentioning that she has kept a saree for her. Shanaya refuses. Pushpa insists that it is the dress code and she must follow it. Shanaya frowns and leaves.
Rashi wishes Radha Kaku and Ashawari a happy Gudi Padwa in Marathi. Radha Kaku compliments Rashi and says she wants to tell her something but cannot tell Pushpa. Rashi asks her not to ignore her mother because of Shanaya. She says that Pushpa might have allowed Shanaya to stay for a reason, so it is better to support her. Rashi then asks why she was called. Radha Kaku asks her to message everyone to gather on the terrace for lunch, and Rashi agrees. Ashwin and Deepti take Pushpa’s blessings and go to meet Radha Kaku.
Pushpa notices that Shanaya is not wearing traditional attire and insists that she wear it. She reminds Shanaya that she is her legal guardian appointed by the court and that she must follow her instructions. Pushpa helps Shanaya get ready. Ansh comes and tells Pushpa that Radha Kaku is calling her. Pushpa says she is coming and asks Shanaya to come upstairs for lunch after ironing the clothes. She leaves. Shanaya feels uncomfortable in the traditional attire. Ansh tells her that she looks good. Shanaya asks what Gudi Padwa is, and Ansh explains its importance before leaving.
Radha Kaku and the other ladies make arrangements for lunch on the terrace. Bapodhara and Susheela take Radha Kaku’s blessings. Pushpa arrives and wishes everyone a happy Gudi Padwa. She says she knows they are upset with her, but her intention was not to hurt anyone. Radha asks about Shanaya, and Pushpa says she will come in traditional attire. Meanwhile, Shanaya irons clothes and starts feeling sleepy. She leaves the iron box on the clothes and goes to sleep.
Radha Kaku says they should enjoy the day and teases Bapodhara, making everyone smile. Meanwhile, a fire breaks out in Pushpa’s house due to the iron box. Chirag receives a call from Sandeep saying that Tejasswi ma’am wants to meet him. He informs Rashi and leaves. Pushpa asks Rashi why Shanaya hasn’t come yet, and Rashi says it might be because she is wearing a nauvari saree. Radha Kaku notices the pickle is missing and goes to get it, only to be shocked upon seeing the fire in Pushpa’s house.
