The episode starts with Dilip coming to Bapodhara’s house. Bapodhara asks Susheela to make lemon water. He tells Dilip that he wants to arrange Chirag’s second marriage, but Chirag is not agreeing. He says it is tough for a man to live alone for life. Dilip says that he understands that pain and is with him, but at this time Chirag’s pain is fresh, so they should give him some time. Bapodhara says they need to start searching for matches from now onwards; otherwise, Chirag will drown in pain. Dilip says that he is thinking well for his son-in-law and is glad that his son got an in-law like him.
Dilip comes home and sees the kids arranging to sleep at his place. He asks what happened. Ashwin says Shanaya has chickenpox, so their mother asked them to sleep there. Dilip says he is happy to see them there. Radha Kaku and Pushpa take care of Shanaya, who is diagnosed with chickenpox. Shanaya thinks that she got Pushpa suspended for revenge, but Pushpa is still taking care of her. Pushpa thinks that she knows Shanaya is the reason for her suspension, but now is not the time to confront her.
The next day, the colony people ask Pushpa not to allow Shanaya to come out and to keep her inside or send her to her place, as chickenpox is contagious. Pushpa says Shanaya’s father is out of station, so she will take care of her there and ensure she does not cause any trouble to others. Pushpa asks Shanaya to bathe with neem water in the washroom she arranged.
Shantanu comes to the chawl. Ashwari asks him to see Shanaya from outside itself, as she has chickenpox and he may get infected. Shantanu sees how Pushpa is taking care of Shanaya and gets emotional. Pushpa assures Shanaya not to worry and says she will be cured soon. She asks if she is hungry. Shanaya says slightly. Pushpa says she will prepare khichdi. Pushpa comes out of the room and sees Shantanu. Shantanu says he has money, but he never took care of Shanaya like she is doing, and wonders how they are managing everything. Pushpa says the kids are staying at her ex-husband’s house. Swara comes there with neem leaves. Shantanu learns that Swara is Ashwin’s adopted daughter. Shantanu praises Pushpa. Pushpa says it is humanity and asks him not to worry about his daughter. Shantanu agrees and leaves.
Badshah comes to the chawl and recalls his childhood memories there. Rashi sees him and runs to him happily. Badshah asks her to be careful as he learned that she is pregnant. He gifts her a dress, and she thanks him. Chirag comes there, and Badshah feels happy seeing him in a police uniform. He apologizes as he learned about Prarthna. Badshah says he has just shifted to Mumbai from Delhi. Rashi talks to Badshah happily. Chirag thinks that Rashi is happy after a long time.
Shanaya asks Pushpa if she is a doctor too, as she knows how to treat chickenpox. Pushpa says all Indian mothers know it. Shanaya asks why she cares for her. Pushpa says she is a mother. She gives her kadha. Shanaya drinks it and calls it poison. Pushpa says it is kadha and forcefully makes Shanaya drink it.
Rashi makes Badshah meet Dilip and then takes him inside. Chirag tells Dilip that Rashi seems happy with Badshah. Pushpa tells Shanaya that she is going to court to assist Joshipura in the Pathak case. She asks Swara to stay with Shanaya and leaves. Dilip tells Chirag that he needs to start a second innings in life. Chirag says no one can take Prarthna’s place in his life. Dilip says then he should give time to Rashi as well and let time decide what is best for her.
Shanaya thinks that Pushpa is taking such good care of her even without any relationship and wonders how Pushpa will react after knowing that she got her suspended.

Precap: Pushpa tells Joshipura that Shanaya framed her in a bribery case and got her suspended. Pathak gets angry hearing this. He goes home and confronts Shanaya, asking why she got Pushpa suspended when she took up his case out of pity and now no one is agreeing to take it. Shanaya asks if Pushpa knows that she is behind it. He says yes.
