Ganesh Kartikeya likely to go off air in April, Hui Ghumm Yaadein to replace it.

By Gossips TV : Sony SAB’s mythological show Gatha Shiv Parivaar Ki – Ganesh Kartikey is reportedly set to conclude its run soon. As per the latest update, the show will air its final episode on April 4, bringing an end to its journey that began in October 2025. Produced by Peninsula Pictures, the series focused on the stories and relationships within Lord Shiva’s divine family, including Goddess Parvati, Ganesh, and Kartikeya.

The show featured a notable cast with Avinash Rekhi stepping into the role of Lord Shiva after Mohit Malik’s exit. Shrenu Parikh portrayed Goddess Parvati.

Despite completing around six months on air and recently marking 100 episodes, the show struggled to see a rise in viewership ratings. Reports suggest that this may have influenced the decision to wrap up the series.

Replacing it in the same time slot will be the upcoming show Hui Ghum Yaadein, starring Iqbal Khan, Gulki Joshi, and Srishti Singh. The new show is expected to premiere on April 6 at 8 PM.

While there has been no official confirmation from the channel at the time of reporting, the development indicates a shift in Sony SAB’s programming lineup. The transition marks the end of one mythological offering and the beginning of a fresh story aimed at engaging viewers. However SAB TV is planning another historical mythology drama ‘Hastinapur Ke Veer’.
