According to reports on Variety, the popular television face has co-founded a production house, Feel Good Studios, with her husband Karan Sharma, and is now entering the daily soap production space.
The report suggests that Surbhi’s new show will be developed alongside Balaji Telefilms, with an official announcement expected soon. Interestingly, she will not be acting in the project and will instead focus entirely on her role behind the scenes as a producer. This marks a significant shift for the actor, who has built a strong fan base through shows like Ishqbaaaz and Naagin 5.
As per the report, the upcoming show is expected to release on Balaji Telefilms’ digital platform. The concept is said to revolve around a family drama set against a cooking backdrop, blending emotional storytelling with light-hearted moments. The narrative is likely to focus on relationships, everyday conflicts, and humor, making it a complete entertainer.
Surbhi has previously collaborated with Ekta Kapoor’s banner during Naagin 5, which performed well digitally. With this new venture, she aims to explore content creation from a different perspective. Having already produced music videos under her banner, this project could mark the beginning of a larger journey in television production.
