The episode starts with Kusum coming to Mangal. Mangal gets scared and drops the red diary. She asks Kusum if she needs something. Kusum says she is feeling pain in her legs. Mangal tells Kusum that she should have called her. She prepares food for Kusum and gives it to her. Kusum notices the diary on the floor and picks it up.
Mangal imagines Kusum noticing the diary and confronting her about Adit’s connection with fake currency. She then comes out of her thoughts.
Kusum notices that there is nothing in the diary. Mangal tells her that the diary belongs to her. Kusum asks Mangal to take rest, as tomorrow is Hanuman Jayanti. Mangal agrees, and Kusum leaves.
Mangal wonders why the diary is empty. She recalls Jairaj telling her about invisible ink being used by professional criminals. In the kitchen, Mangal makes the ink visible and learns that a consignment is going to be transported the next day. She calls Jairaj and informs him about it. Jairaj praises her for the information and asks her to put the diary back where she found it before ending the call.
Mangal places the diary back in Adit’s room. Adit asks her what she is doing there. Mangal replies that she is closing all the windows because it is cold outside. Adit comments that she has never cared for him this much before. Mangal leaves.
The next day, Sowmya looks at the map and tells Adit that the plan will not work because there are three police check posts on the way. Adit says they will take the back road, where there are no check posts. Sowmya agrees.
Mangal performs aarti for the Goddess. Ishana shares the good news with her family that she is going to open her own stall for healthy, protein-rich food under Pehla Swaad. She invites Kusum and Gayatri to come. Mangal says she will come too, but Ishana tells her to stop pretending, saying she knows Mangal will not come. Mangal asks her not to think that way. Just then, Mangal receives a call and leaves to take it.
Kusum tells Ishana not to misunderstand Mangal and assures her that Mangal will definitely come to the stall in the evening.
Mangal goes to her room, where the lights are off, and injures her leg. When she turns on the lights, she sees nails scattered all over the floor.
Aarav comes to Mangal and pretends to care for her. Mangal asks him to stop acting, and he agrees.
Aarav reminds Mangal that she had threatened to hurt him, but now she herself is hurt. Mangal asks what he wants. Aarav says he wants Ishana to stay away from her and to hate her. He warns Mangal not to come to the stall and leaves.
Mangal then gets a call from Jairaj asking her to come quickly. She agrees.
Mangal meets Jairaj, and together they see that Adit’s trucks are using the back road. Jairaj wonders how to get close to the trucks without raising suspicion. Mangal notices a Hanuman parade and suggests they join it to get closer to the trucks.
Jairaj notices that Mangal’s leg is injured and tends to it by cleaning it with alcohol. He asks her to rest, but Mangal refuses.
The episode ends.
Precap: Jairaj and the cops find two empty trucks, while Adit watches from a distance. Adit spots the police and leaves. He tells Sowmya that he knew the police were watching them, so he shifted all the currency to a third truck at the last minute.
Jairaj then sees Adit’s truck leaving. Mangal is revealed to have gotten into the truck. Jairaj calls her and asks where she is. Mangal replies that she is in the third truck.
