Exclusive : Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta eyeing post IPL launch, here’s what we know so far

By Gossips TV : Zee TV’s much-awaited show Pavitra Rishta, starring Abrar Qazi and Priyanshi Yadav, has been on hold for some time, leaving fans curious about its status. Initially planned for a February 2026 premiere, the delay sparked speculation about whether the show had been shelved altogether.

However, Gossips TV has exclusively learned that the project is very much on track. The team is currently shooting actively, with a significant portion of the schedule taking place in Darjeeling for outdoor sequences. Sources reveal that the production has been progressing steadily despite the earlier pause.

The delay, according to insiders, came after certain creative changes were made to the storyline. A few already-shot episodes were reportedly scrapped, aligning with earlier updates shared by Gossips TV. These revisions were aimed at refining the narrative and enhancing the overall appeal of the show before its launch.

The channel is now considering a post-IPL release window. Given the dominance of cricket viewership during the IPL season, launching a new fiction show at this time is often seen as a risk. Zee TV appears to be taking a cautious approach to ensure better visibility and audience engagement once the tournament concludes.

While the exact premiere date is yet to be finalized, the show remains in active production and is expected to hit screens soon after IPL wraps up.
