The episode starts with Parvathi phoning Adhi. The latter reassures a crying Parvathi. He says he saw the news. He will not let anything happen to his mom. Parvathi blames herself for Akhila state. She tells about her nightmare and how she tried to stop Akhila. She says Akhila went to the function in order to prove her wrong. She cries. She says she shouldn’t have loved him and allowed him to leave the house. Adhi says he can’t see her in sufferings. He says he will soon find the truth and prove Akhila’s innocence to the world. He cuts the call.
Vanaja phones Nandhini. She shares her joy with her. Vanaja tells how Indumandhi, at the last moment, told that Akhila made her to say like that. Vanaja wonders how she suddenly changed her version. Nandhini says she trapped Akhila. She asks if she had noticed Indumandhi received a call during the press meet. She then tells she called her and blackmailed her. Vanaja asks what’s the next plan. Nandhini next it will be Akhila’s arrest. She’s waiting to see Akhila being arrested. She proudly says she has achieved and cuts the call.
Akhila is sitting in her room remembering inspector telling she could be arrested for falsifying the evidence. Vanaja comes there and does her usual drama. She makes crying face and says she can’t see her like this. Purushotaman comes to Akhila’s room. Vanaja says she feels pity seeing her situation. She then cries saying how difficult will be the jail life and how she can stay there. Purushotaman shouts Vanaja. He says Akhila doesn’t need to know her jail experience as she won’t go to the jail. He sends her out.
There’s a Police meeting arranged to discuss about Akhila slapping Duraimanikam. They are discussing whether to arrest Akhila or not. One police tells if they arrest her, they had to face pressure from politicians. Another tells if they don’t arrest her that will be a shame for their department since Akhila slapped Duraimanikam in a public place. The commissioner decides to arrest Akhila so that public doesn’t lose the trust they have on Police. A Police announces the same to Duraimanikam who gets happy.
While cleaning the dinning table, Parvathi by mistake drops the glass char. She gets worried since broken glass is considered as a bad omen. She prays to God to protect Akhila and stop her from taking any wrong decision.
At Akhila’s house, everyone is sitting tensed. Reports are waiting for Akhila. The latter comes down and get seated. Police arrives there to arrest Akhila. The inspector tells they have to come to arrest her and asks to corporate. Police shows the arrest warrant to Purushotaman. Akhila stands up. Her family members looks helpless except Vanaja who is happy.
