The episode starts with principal asking second question. The boys struggle to find an answer. Anirudh looks impatiently towards Bondita who pulls the string connected to the bell playing it. Everyone gets surprised seeing that but when they turn to see everyone is seeing it. Saudamini says that they must have pulled the string in sleep and asks the principal to move to the next question.
Anirudh shouts at the girls asking to wake up and answer since they won’t get the opportunity again. The principal starts the countdown. Anirudh tries to make the girls understand the importance of the competition. Bondita wakes up and gives the right answer. Everyone gets surprised. Saudamini spits the water. Anirudh and others clap.
All the girls wake up. Saudamini apologizes to Greenwood saying that she doesn’t know how she woke up. Anirudh goes to her and offers her water to open her eyes and see that all the girls have woken up. He taunts her and then takes back his seat.
The principal goes ahead with questions asking which is the smallest bone in our body. The boys start feeling sleepy. Ramaya gives the right the question and the girls’ team gets another point.
Since the boys have fallen asleep, Saudamini tries to stop the competition and blames Anirudh for doing something. Anirudh says that the boys must have understood that they cannot win and they are pretending to sleep feeling ashamed. Saudamini says that the boys had drank the whole book so there is no reason for them to pretend to sleep.
Anirudh says that they should have studied every page one by one. Saudamini accuses Anirudh for mixing something in boys’ food. Greenwood says that he will be punished for that. Anirudh says that he didn’t go near the boys just like Betty didn’t go near the girls. He asks the principal to go ahead with the competition since Hindustani acknowledge the importance of times a lot. Bondita agrees. Anirudh leaves for a moment.
The competition goes ahead and the girls keep giving right answers while the boys are sleeping. Anirudh comes with Mahabharata book and says that she should have read it when he asked her: had she done it then she would have understood how the sleeping powder she mixed in girls’ food ended up in boys’ one. He says that he just followed what Krishna taught.
Saudamini says that he cannot do this. Anirudh says that only Britishers cannot play smart. In a flashback it’s revealed that Anirudh and Bondita saw Saudamini giving the powder to Elaichi. Bondita showed Anirudh the brooch that she found in Elaichi’s stuff recognizing that it’s Saudamini’s. Bondita later swapped the bord where there was written “girls” with “boys” one so Elaichi mixed the medicine in the boys’ powder.
Anirudh goes back to sit. The girls are ahead. Anirudh says that the girls will be always ahead in future also. Saudamini tries to wake up the boys sprinkling water on their faces but in vain. Anirudh reminds that she herself said that if anyone went near the team, the latter would be eliminated. Saudamini has to sit back.
Bondita tells Elaichi that they had found out that that she is helping Saudamini so they just pretended to sleep. Elaichi is embarrassed.
The boys wake up and start answering. After a while, the boys have 9 points and the girls have 8 points. Principal warns the girls that if the boys answer the next one right then they will automatically win. Saudamini says that the boys will win and asks Greenwood whether the celebration for the victory is ready. He says that a grand celebration will happen.
Trilochan comes back and tells Anirudh that the car is waiting for them and they should leave the country. Anirudh asks him to look art the scoreboard. Trilochan looks at it and gets happy. Anirudh encourages the girls and reminds them how much hard work they did and remember their goal.
Bondita remembers asking Anirudh what she should do if she gets afraid. Anirudh had asked her to remember her goal which is bigger than her fear and remember that the girls will get equal rights and respect if they win the challenge. He explained her that she is the guide of her group and she has to show the direction to her friends. The girls hold each other’s hands. Anirudh smiles looking at them. Bondita says that Anirudh has shown them the moon but they have to jump high to touch it. She asks the girls if they are ready to jump. They all nod.
