The episode starts with Anirudh happily saying Trilochan that Bondita is the first girl to go to school and he’s very happy about it. He says that this will be the starting and in near future all the girls of every house hold will get education and prosper themselves. Trilochan smiles and calls Bondita but Bondita says that she got ready but won’t come in front of him.
Anirudh says that Bondita is just feeling shy and asks her to come out. Bondita comes out hesitating and Trilochan praises her seeing her in school uniform. He’s about to point out the short dress but Anirudh signals him to not to do. Trilochan strictly warns her to wear her saree after coming back home and Bondita nods yes. Batuk points out Bondita that she didn’t wear her shoes and Anirudh goes to bring it.
He’s about to make her wear the shoes when Trilochan shouts that it’s a sin for husband to hold wife’s feet. Anirudh reasons that if its believed that if wife holds husband’s feet then she would go to heaven then it’s the vice versa for husband too. Saudamini watches them using binoculars. Bondita takes her leave after taking blessings from Trilochan. Saudamini says that it will be her last day of life.
Saurabh’s parents tries stopping him from going to Kolkata but Saurabh is adamant to fulfill Sampoorna’s demands. His father says that all those big changes in society can be done only by rich people like Anirudh and not by them. Saurabh reminds him of the time when Anirudh risked his life in Heera mandi. Saurabh’s mother forces Sampoorna to stop him and she calls him in. He goes in room with her. Batuk and Bondita are on their way to school.
Bondita recalls her first time in school and Gandhiji’s words. She asks how other people goes to school and Batuk says comes by cycle and some by walk. Bondita wishes to ride a cycle too but Batuk says that girls can’t ride cycle. Bondita says Anirudh’s words about girls equal to boys. She assures that she’ll ride cycle one day.
Suddenly driver stops the vehicle seeing big rocks on the way. Both driver and Batuk are busy removing them. Saudamini comes there dressed as trash cleaner and sedates Bondita. She takes away Bondita in trash vehicle while Batuk searches for her. Saudamini says to unconscious Bondita that today she’ll die in front of her Pati babu.
Anirudh enquires Batuk about Bondita’s disappearance. Someone throws a stone with letter breaking window. It reads that in order to save Bondita he needs to come to chemicals factory. Anirudh is sure that it’s Saudamini’s work and swears to put an end to her.
Sampoorna gives Anirudh’s gift to Saurabh saying that he forgot it. He takes it while Sampoorna pleads him to not go leaving her. Saurabh reminds her of her dream to become a singer. Sampoorna says that she’s happy being his wife and cant stay away from him. He convinces her and promises to come back soon. He asks for her to sing a song and lies on her lap. Sampoorna sings for him.
Saudamini locks Bondita in a room filling it with poisonous gas. She cones out to find Anirudh coming there and taunts him. Anirudh swears to kill her and goes to find Bondita. He finds the door locked and asks for keys but Saudamini throws it in tube river. She leaves mocking him that he can’t save her.. Anirudh breaks open the door but couldn’t enter due to gas. He prays God and finds water near him. He drenched himself in water and enters inside the room. He starts searching for Bondita
