The episode starts with Renuka talking to Mukund about his job offer and says that I am so happy for you. Mukund says that he is only waiting for the approval of her elder sister Sumitra. As soon as she will be all ok with this job offer he will work on it. Renuka says why not she will be happy with this? Is she a step sister of yours? Mukund looks at her with wide eyes and says why are you questioning me such a thing. Renuka changes the topic and says I mean for her you are like a child.
Anything that makes you happy, independent and confident in life should make her happy as well. why when you think that she will not be happy to know that you have approved your calibre once again on your own and grab something out of it? Mukund smiles and says it’s true that she will appreciate me for this. Suddenly Sumitra enters the house calling the name of Renuka with so much anger. Renuka doesn’t understand what happened and she asks in a very normal voice why she is back in home this soon?
Sumitra says I know all these are coming out of your brain only but I will not let you succeed in your activities. You can never be an ideal wife and at this time of crisis also you just wanted to influence him in a different way and is taking efforts to send him away from all of us? Renuka really doesn’t understand anything and she is just looking at Mukund for help.
Mukund defends Renuka in front of Sumitra and says that not her but it was me who applied for the job offer. Sumitra says to him that you are not understanding her character traits as you are too innocent to get anything. She is just trying to insult me and doing things to make you away from me but I will not let it happen. she made Mukund promise to her that she will not avail the job of a and will not go away leaving them alone.
Later on Sumitra says to Indu, to fulfill my plan it is very necessary for Mukund to be jobless and worthless in every sense. If he learns to gain confidence and becomes smart and independent then he will start to doubt my decisions about him and will start questioning me regarding the same and there are a lot of things about which I don’t want to answer him. The main problem is the love Mukund suddenly realised for his wife Renuka and that is being the most problematic thing for me. By any means I have to make Renuka drop in the eyes of Mukund and for that I have to take efforts from today itself.
During the dinner time, Sumitra asks Renuka to serve her water. Renuka is trying to do that but the glass broke on her hand and she got hurt on her finger but more than that she is trying to clean the surfaces and takes away the pieces of glass. Sumitra again blames her for trying to serve her water in a broken glass. Renuka says that she has no idea why it happened there as she holds it delicately. Mukund comes back home and he notices the wound In the finger of Renuka. He is trying to add it when Sumitra stops him and asks him to join her for the dinner session.
Mukund agrees and sits for dinner when Sumitra and Indu start to play their next game. Indu collected some glass pieces from the dustbin and mixed it in the dal of Sumitra. Sumitra blames Renuka for purposely serving her spiked dal so that she consumes it and can die on spot. Renuka tries to defend herself but Sumitra doesn’t listen to her.
Mukund manages the situation for time being but later when Renuka confronts him he seems unsure about her innocence. Renuka understand that Sumitra is doing it purposely to make her look bad in the eyes of Mukund so that she can be successful in her plan. The next morning Renuka starts her puja and fasting to save the shop of Mukund.
