The episode starts with Police being on the way to arrest Akhila. At Akhila’s house press reporters are gathered. Purushotaman walks nervously. At the temple Parvathi is still meditating. At the hospital Adhi and Arun are sitting worried. At Akhila’s house, Vanaja phones to Nandhini.
Vanaja is tensed. She asks if everything will happen according to their plan. Nandhini assures her. Vanaja asks about Madhumathi. Nandhini says she’s unconscious. She will gain consciousness only after 24 hours. Vanaja says in hour either Akhila will get arrested or will kill herself. Nandhini says no one can save Akhila, as the only witness Madhumathi will not survive.
Police force reach Akhila’s house and wait to arrest her after the end of 24 hours stay warrant. At the hospital, Adhi requests the doctor to let him to talk to Madhumathi. He’s certain that she will gain consciousness hearing his voice. Adhi says he has to save his mom.
Arun and Adhi keeps requesting doctor. Doctor agrees. Adhi starts talking to an unconscious Madhumathi. He says she is an alone witness who can prove his mom’s innocence. He keeps asking her to awake. Madhumadhi gains consciousness. She asks him to take her to his house. She then falls unconscious.
At Akhila’s house, Akhila comes downstairs. She gets seated. Purushotaman tries to talk. Akhila stops him saying Adhi will keep his words. Vanaja thinks Adhi will not come. Akhila asks Purushotaman what is the time. Vanaja wonders why police doesn’t arrest her yet. She asks what if Adhi’s doesn’t come. Purushotaman angrily shuts her. Vanaja says if Adhi doesn’t come on time, police will arrest Akhila. Vanaja starts her acting.
Vadivel asks Purushotaman to call Adhi to ask where he is. Adhi doesn’t answer the call. Purushotaman then calls Arun. The latter answers the call. He tells Madhumathi was given poison and her situation is critical. He apologizes to Purushotaman saying they couldn’t save Akhila and cries. He cuts the call. Purushotaman is stunned. Akhila asks what happened. Purushotaman explains the situation. Vanaja feels overjoyed. Purushotaman says why God punishes good people. Vadivel assures him. He says nothing will happen to Akhila.
The inspector arrives at Akhila’s house. The reporters ask him if Akhila has submitted any proof to prove her innocence. The inspector says she does not have submitted any evidence. They have no other option than arrest her. They have come with court warrant. They walk away. The news reporter says Akhila will be arrested within 5 mins. We have to wait and see Adhi could save his mom or not. The inspector asks Akhila if she has any evidence to submit from her side. The inspector orders the constable to arrest Akhila. The latter looks on.
