The episode starts with Anirudh saying that she did well in her exams so they should celebrate it. Devoleena taunts them that they want to celebrate during Bondita’s menstruation. Anirudh says that every woman can do their daily routine work even during their menstruation. He doesn’t know about others but Bondita will certainly do. Bondita agrees with him. They see a man gulfi. They have gulfi while the society people angrily stare at them.
Anirudh and Bondita come back home. They hear Trilocham discussing with others about a function. Anirudh asks Sampoorna what they’re talking about. Sampoorna says they are talking about celebrating Bondita attaining the puberty. Bondita gets excited hearing this. Trilocham asks Pandit when to fix this function.
Pandit says Bondita and Anirudh will have to do the puja together then they can start their marriage life as husband and wife. Anirudh gets shocked hearing this. Bondita innocently asks Anirudh if Pandit doesn’t know they are already married. Anirudh asks Bondita to go to her room. Anirudh says to Pandit that there’s no need to fix any date as he doesn’t want to do any puja or perform any rasam. He leaves the pandit at the doorstep. He firmly says that he and Bondita will stay in a separate room.
Trilocham says this is nature’s rule that a women should give heirs to her in laws. Anirudh says Bondita is still a child who doesn’t understand all this. He further says it’s a sin to except heir from a child. Trilochan is adamant in his decision. He asks the priest to prepare for the pooja. Anirudh and Bondita will sit in the pooja. Anirudh angrily leaves from there.
Trilocham asks Sampoorna to make Bondita understand about a wife’s duty and if she gets successful, he promises her to give her Roy family’s daughter-in-law status. Sampoorna agrees. Sampoorna says to Bondita that Anirudh has done so much for her, but now he refuses to become her husband.
She further says that after marriage husband and wife sleep in the same room unlike them in separate rooms. She instigates Bondita against Anirudh saying he doesn’t want to giver her the rights of a wife. Bondita says Anirudh is always right. She asks not to any bad about him. They understand and care for each other. This is not enough to be a husband and wife. Sampoorna says what she’s saying is half truth. They are together but not close to each other. She then says Trilocham asked her to make her understand the importance of this rasam.
Bondita looks confused. Trilocham comes there. He asks her to listen to her sister. Bondita says if she’s right, she doesn’t understand why Anirudh refuses. She innocently says if they stay in a same room, they can talk a lot. Sampoorna advises her to follow the instructions will be given to her to perform the rasam. Then they all will live together happily as she always wished.
Bondita comes to Anirudh and asks if he’s angry with her. He gives hot towel to her to put on the back. She places it on the couch and sits over it. Bondita says he cares for her lot then why he doesn’t let her stay in his room, everyone saya this’s a wife’s right. She says maybe he thinks that she will take lot of place in the bed, so he refuses. She assures him that she will take only little place. She asks if he still has any problem with her staying in his room.
Anirudh remains silent. Bondita says she will go inside the wardrobe and asks him to explain her like he did morning. She goes inside the cupboard and asks why he’s not giving her a wife’s rights. Anirudh says she will not understand. Bondita says he made her understand everything like her mom used to make her understand then why he can explain her this.
She asks if something will change between them, if they stay together. He shares his happiness and worries with her, then why he doesn’t share his room with her. She keeps insisting to answer her. Anirudh feels helpless and leaves from there. Bondita comes out and thinks for the first he hasn’t answered her question.
Anirudh is sitting in a place remembering Bondita’s words. He thinks how to make her understand that he can’t give a wife’s rights, he always saw her as his responsibility. Anirudh hears two people talking about the rasam. He angrily leaves from there. Sampoorna sees this. She says she knows Anirudh will never want to do this rasam, so she’s playing this game. She further says she will give heir to this family, not Bondita. Anirudh comes to his room. He gets shocked seeing Bondita getting ready as a wife and bringing milk for him.
