Rising star Aaditya Gupta has been making waves in the industry with his impressive performances, particularly in the hit web series School Friends. As he continues to explore new roles, we caught up with him to talk about his upcoming projects, the overwhelming response to School Friends Season 3, and his dream collaborations.
1. What’s next for you? Any announcements to follow?
There are quite a few things lined up in the timeline. I’m stepping into the shoes of different characters, but there isn’t much I can reveal at this point. However, the future looks exciting, and I just hope the audience loves what’s coming next.
2. How has the response to School Friends been?
The response to Season 3 has been fantastic! Fans were truly amazed by the new twist and the fresh energy that Yashika, played by Ashnoor Kaur, brought to the show. What makes School Friends stand out is its relatability and authenticity, which the entire cast and crew bring to the screen. I’m really excited to see how the story unfolds in Season 4.
3. One actor you would love to work opposite?
I would absolutely love to work with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal! I’ve been a fan of both and have followed their work since their debuts. The authenticity and charm they bring to such diverse characters are truly inspiring—there’s so much to learn from them.
4. How did you hone your acting skills? Were you born with it, or did you attend a school?
I believe everyone is born as an incomplete actor. Like everyone else, I had a certain set of skills, but when I decided to dedicate my life to this craft, I joined my theatre group, Rangakarmee, where I received my acting training. That’s where I honed my skills and worked towards becoming a complete actor.
