The episode begins with the groom’s family asking Ganesh the name of his granddaughter. Meanwhile, Aarti appears on TV reporting, saying, “I am journalist Aarti, who never backs down,” as she exposes a girls’ smuggling racket.
The groom’s family asks Ganesh to show Aarti’s photo. Ganesh hands over a picture. Just then, Groom see Aarti on television fighting off goons bravely and teaching them a lesson. The groom asks his family to look at the screen, pointing out that it’s the same girl.
Shocked by Aarti’s bold behavior on live TV, the groom’s family questions Ganesh for lying to them, saying Aarti is “sanskari,” when in fact she’s behaving like a “goondi.” Without giving Ganesh a chance to explain, they leave angrily. Pradeep taunts, saying, “This is Aarti’s 50th rejection—half a century completed.” Ganesh, furious, says, “Let her come home! I’ll teach her a lesson. She’s becoming just like her mother.”
Meanwhile, Raghav mourns in front of Aman’s photo. Abhay consoles him, reminding him that tomorrow is Aman’s death anniversary (barsi). Raghav says, “It’s been 21 years since Aman left us, but it still feels like he’s around.” Abhay asks how long Raghav plans to isolate himself and avoid the court. Raghav replies, “I’ll enter the court only when I find Aman’s murderer. What was my son’s fault that he was killed?”
Just then, Raghav receives a call from Ganesh. Raghav immediately asks, “Why do you always call me around this time every year?” Ganesh requests Raghav to allow Anjali to attend Aman’s barsi, reminding him that she is Aman’s widow and they have a daughter. Raghav coldly asks, “What daughter are you talking about?” Ganesh stays silent. Raghav sternly says, “We have no ties with your family. Don’t call me again!” Ganesh insists that Anjali has the right to be part of his family. Raghav responds, “If you want rights over my family, go to court. I’ll give you a fitting reply there!”
Aarti walks in and asks her grandfather who he was talking to. She tries to take the phone, but Raghav cuts the call. Abhay asks what happened. Raghav says, “I know Ganesh wants a share in my property through that daughter. Our lives were ruined the moment Anjali entered our family.” He wonders who the woman was on the call—her voice seemed unfamiliar. “Who is trying to talk to me?” he questions aloud.
Aarti confronts Ganesh, asking who he was speaking to. She presses him about why he always talks to someone on this day and pleads for her mother’s rights. Aarti questions if Ganesh was speaking to her father’s family and whether they live in Delhi. Ganesh remains silent. Aarti pleads with him to tell the truth, but Ganesh brushes her off, saying it’s not her concern.
Ganesh scolds Aarti for going out and fighting goons when she was supposed to be home to meet the prospective groom’s family. “We thought if we got you married, our worries would be over,” he says. Just then, Sapna enters and complains that Anjali refuses to eat unless Aarti feeds her. Aarti calms down and goes to feed Anjali.

Precap: Chandraman threatens the editor-in-chief and forces him to call Aarti. On the call, Chandraman warns Aarti not to pursue the smuggler’s story any further. Aarti fearlessly asks who he is. Chandraman introduces himself. Unfazed, Aarti cuts the call. Sapna asks who it was. Aarti replies, “Chandraman Thakur—he tried to threaten me.”
