The episode starts with Ganesh asking Anjali what is going on. Anjali tells Ganesh that she will not go there. Sapna questions Anjali, asking if this is how they raised her. Anjali replies to Sapna that Raghav will never accept their marriage. She further explains that this is just a trap to prevent her from going to court and asks Sapna if she can’t see it. Anjali says to Sapna and Ganesh that she can endure anything but will not tolerate losing her identity as an advocate.
Ganesh asks Anjali if she has done anything wrong. He assures her that she is fulfilling her duties as an advocate but insists that she should also fulfill her responsibilities as a daughter-in-law. Anjali replies that going to her in-laws’ house is not written in her fate.
Meanwhile, Sapna receives a call from Nandini. Nandini tells Sapna that although Anjali came to their house and performed the Gruhpravesh ritual, she created a scene there. She reminds Sapna that Anjali and Gini became their daughters-in-law without their consent, but they still accepted them. Nandini informs Sapna that tomorrow is Anjali’s first kitchen ritual and asks her to send Anjali to fulfill her duties as the Rajput family’s daughter-in-law. Nandini pressures Sapna to convince Anjali and even makes her promise to send her. Reluctantly, Sapna agrees.
After the call, Aman asks Sapna whom she made a promise to. Sapna explains that she promised Nandini that Anjali will go to the Rajput mansion. Anjali, feeling betrayed, asks Sapna how she could make such a promise. She argues that it is a trap and questions if Sapna cannot see it. However, Sapna firmly tells Anjali that she has given her word to Nandini, and Anjali must go.
Anjali calls Raghav, who, at Nandini’s insistence, addresses her as his daughter-in-law. Anjali accuses Raghav of setting a trap for her to keep her away from court due to the first kitchen ritual. Raghav counters her accusations with comments of his own.
Anjali confides in Aman, saying that only he knows the truth—they are not truly married. She declares that she will not go to their house for the first kitchen ritual. Aman, feeling guilty, says he never expected things to escalate this far, to which Anjali responds sharply.
Later, Aman receives a call from Raghav. Raghav instructs Aman to bring Anjali home for the first kitchen ritual. He reminds Aman of everything he has done for him as a father and asks him to do this one thing in return. After making his point, Raghav hangs up.
Ganesh informs Anjali that someone from her in-laws’ house has come to meet her. To her surprise, it is Abhay. Abhay tells Aman and Anjali that tomorrow is Anjali’s first kitchen ritual. He warns them that if Anjali doesn’t come, he will consider their marriage fake. Ganesh intervenes, telling Abhay to mind his words. He acknowledges that Aman betrayed them by hiding the truth but defends Anjali’s character. Ganesh then promises Abhay that Anjali will attend the Gruhpravesh ritual the next day. Abhay accepts this assurance and leaves. Anjali, however, decides that she must go to the Rajput house to destroy Gini’s marriage.
The next day, Chandraman calls Raghav and tells him that Yuvraj should get bail today, and to ensure that happens, Anjali must not appear in court. Raghav reassures him, saying Anjali will not come because Sapna has already promised Nandini that Anjali will attend the first kitchen ritual at their home. Chandraman reminds Raghav of his previous loss to Anjali and comments on the situation.

Precap: In court, after her argument, Anjali requests the judge to punish Yuvraj. Meanwhile, Raghav pretends to have chest pain and requests the judge to postpone the hearing to another date.
Later, Raghav tells Anjali that she lost to her father-in-law today and comments smugly on her defeat.
