The episode begins with Aarti asking Anjali why she hasn’t eaten. She scolds her gently, saying her mischief is increasing. Aarti asks why she’s refusing food when Dadi and Padma are feeding her. She emotionally says, “One day I’ll get married and have kids—I won’t be able to take care of you then. Please recover and start eating on your own.”
Aarti pleads with the unresponsive Anjali to respond just once and tell her who tried to kill her and why her father was murdered before her birth. She says, “Dadi and Padma Maasi never told me about him, so please tell me who my father was.” Aarti asks if Anjali can hear her voice.
Anjali, still unresponsive, recalls the accident involving her and Aman. Her condition begins to deteriorate, and Aarti tries to console her.
Later, Sapna tells Aarti that it’s good she didn’t bring up the incident again, as it worsens Anjali’s condition. Sapna says, “After that incident, my daughter became a living corpse and my son-in-law died.” Aarti asks Sapna to tell her about her father. But Sapna refuses, saying, “Your mother hasn’t eaten—feed her first. And I won’t tell you anything about your father’s family.” She leaves with Padma.
Aarti assures Anjali, “I’m a journalist. I’ll find out the truth about Dad and his family very soon.” She emotionally feeds soup to Anjali, overwhelmed by her mother’s lifeless state. Aarti hugs her in tears.
Meanwhile, Laal calls Aarti and tells her he wants a new story. He praises her for boosting TRPs with yesterday’s report and adds that the police have arrested their team. Just then, the driver stops the car and informs Laal that someone is blocking their way.
A man approaches and asks Laal to come out as “Sir” wants to speak with him. Laal steps out, and Chandrabhan gets down from another vehicle. Laal asks who he is. Chandrabhan replies, “It was your channel that aired the girls’ trafficking story, wasn’t it?” Laal proudly says, “Yes, and it brought us high TRPs.”
Chandrabhan threatens Laal and demands to speak with the girl who reported the story. When Laal refuses, his men point guns at him. Laal then calls Aarti and hands the phone to Chandrabhan.
Aarti picks up, irritated: “Why are you calling again? I’m busy taking care of my mom.” Chandrabhan introduces himself on the call. He warns her not to pursue the smuggler story any further. Unfazed, Aarti asks who he is. When he introduces himself, Aarti boldly ends the call, saying she’s not afraid of any threats.

Precap: Aarti takes Anjali to the hospital. She pleads, “Please, just once, tell me who is responsible for your condition. I’ll make them pay.” Meanwhile, the Rajput family also arrives at the same hospital.
