By Gossips Tv : Veteran actor Amar Upadhyay, who plays Priyanshi Yadav’s onscreen father “Ganga Prasad” in Colors TV’s Doree 2, is reportedly planning to QUIT the show. Recent reports from media hinted at his potential exit, sparking curiosity among fans.
According to REPORTS Amar’s decision stems from a fallout with the makers of the show. Initially, he was promised 15 shooting days per month. However, following Doree’s wedding track, his screen time was drastically reduced, with him being called for only two or three days. Feeling sidelined, Amar allegedly decided to step away from the project.
However, there is still hope for reconciliation. Reports suggest that the channel and makers are making efforts to retain Amar, and if discussions go well, he might reconsider his decision. Another reason behind his reduced presence in the show could be his high per-day fee, making it difficult for the makers to utilize him frequently.
Meanwhile, Doree 2’s producer, Kinnari Mehta, has denied reports of Amar’s exit. As of now, there is no official confirmation from the actor himself.
