Anuj Singh Duhan, the versatile artist known for his successful career in the world of supermodeling, has taken a leap into the realm of acting with his stellar performance in the recently released film, Pippa. Portraying the challenging role of Lt. Col. Tejinder Singh Sidhu, Anuj has quickly become the talk of the town, receiving accolades from fans and industry insiders alike.
Talking about training for this role, Anuj shared, “In my immersive preparation for the role, we as a team dedicated ourselves to achieving a level of realism that went beyond the script. The journey involved two grueling army training sessions, pushing us to our physical limits. We used to run 11 kilometers with rifles, conquering rope climbing challenges, and actually commanding real tanks, firing from them. It was an incredibly intense and transformative experience that not only tested my endurance but also enriched my performance on screen.”
Hailing from Rohtak, Anuj expressed his gratitude for the transformative experience of working with Raja Menon, the acclaimed director of Pippa. He emphasized the sense of family created by Raja Menon on set, easing his nerves and ensuring comfort in this new environment. As his first feature film, Anuj acknowledged the pivotal role of Menon’s mentorship and workshop approach, uniting the cast into a cohesive and collaborative unit. Pippa, a film centered around brotherhood and camaraderie, owes much of its success to Menon’s dedication to character development and storytelling.
