In today’s episode, Prem receives Rahi’s call. She asks about the function and becomes upset with him for not returning on time. She is angry that he neither answered her calls nor came back when he should have. Prem tells Rahi that he is on his way home. Anupama asks Rahi to relax as Prem has returned.
Prem asks Varun how, after studying in the US, he decided to return to India to settle. Varun says he never wanted to go to the US and always aspired to become a politician. Prem appreciates his clarity about his career. Varun then asks Prem about his own career. Just as Prem is about to respond, Varun speeds up the car. Prem asks him to slow down, but Varun hits a couple riding a bike. Prem panics and asks Varun to stop the car. Varun refuses, saying that as a public figure he cannot stop or there will be a hit-and-run case, which will destroy his political career. Prem stops the car himself and tells Varun to become human before becoming a politician. He tries to help the injured couple.
The crowd asks who was driving. Varun immediately takes Prem’s name. Prem asks Varun why he is lying, but the mob assaults Prem for rash driving despite his attempts to explain he was not behind the wheel.
Rahi worries about Prem. Anupama comforts her and asks her not to fight with him later, advising her to study well. Rahi says she does not fight with Prem and praises him for handling her temper. Anupama praises him too. Rahi then receives a call from the police station and learns that Prem has been arrested in the hit-and-run case. Anupama and Rahi are shocked.
Vasundhara confronts Parag and asks if Rajini is the same person from their past. She is worried about Rajini and wonders how she became rich. Parag says he cannot step back now because he has invested everything in this project. Vasundhara urges him to hide his past from Gautam and warns him not to trust Rajini. Parag says he betrayed Rajini because of Vasundhara. She claims Rajini did not match their status. Parag replies that love does not consider status, adding that earlier Rajini did not match their level and now they do not match hers.
Rahi and Anupama reach the police station and defend Prem. Prem tells Anupama that Varun caused the accident. Anupama recognizes Varun. Rajini arrives at the station and confronts Varun. He continues blaming Prem, but Rajini demands the truth and slaps him. Varun finally admits that he blamed Prem to save himself.
Paritosh is happy about receiving alimony after Pari and Raja’s divorce. Kinjal questions whether he has lost his mind for celebrating Pari’s divorce. The Shahs oppose Paritosh’s behaviour. Paritosh decides to go to Mumbai to meet his daughter, but Leela stops him and asks him to let Anupama handle the situation in her own way.
Varun asks Rajini to save him. Rajini tells him that being the son of a politician does not give him the right to commit hit-and-run. Varun pleads, but Rajini tells the inspector to file the case. The inspector hesitates because of Rajini’s political position. The injured couple later withdraws the complaint. Anupama tells Varun to learn good values from Rajini.
Gautam senses something is off with Parag. He observes Khayti and suspects that Parag and Rajini know each other. Parag asks Gautam to focus on his work, but Gautam decides to uncover the truth about Parag and Rajini.
Prarthana requests Leela to attend her baby shower. Leela refuses initially, but Prarthana convinces her. Meanwhile, Rahi alerts Anupama about Rajini, saying she is not what she appears to be. Anupama expresses complete trust in Rajini and praises her. She refuses to believe anything negative about Rajini and asks Rahi not to think ill of her.
Precap: Varun asks Anupama for forgiveness. Anupama decides to forgive him for Rajini’s sake. She tells Rajini that Varun should not apologize only to her. Rajini asks Anupama to keep Varun with her in the chawl until he learns basic values. She further tells Varun that once the chawl development project succeeds, they will earn a lot of money. Varun and Rajini are shocked to see Anupama overhearing them.
