In today’s episode, Vasundhara regrets tying the knot with the Shahs. Anupama asks Vasundhara not to blame the relationship for the missing sacred mat. She assures Vasundhara that she will find the mat. Gautam claims Anupama will fail to locate it, adding that missing items can be found, but stolen ones are rarely recovered. Vasundhara says she cannot trust anyone because Jhanki is moving around like a family member despite being staff. Jhanki defends herself, and Anupama insists that Jhanki and the other staff members are like family.
Vasundhara asks Gautam to call the police. Anupama warns that both families will suffer if the police get involved. Vasundhara insists that only the Shahs will face the consequences. She also judges Rahi. Anupama stands up for Rahi.
Anil then reveals that the sacred mat is with him, leaving Vasundhara shocked. Anil apologizes to Anupama for not informing her earlier. Vasundhara asks Anupama to prepare for Rahi’s vidai. Anupama apologizes to Jhanki on Vasundhara’s behalf, surprising Vasundhara.
Rahi worries about adjusting to life with the Kotharis. Anupama consoles her. Rahi asks Anupama why she looks different, to which Anupama replies that Rahi is the one who looks different now that she’s married. Anupama gives Rahi the house key, assuring her that no one can separate her from her home. She emphasizes her bond with Rahi and gifts her a handkerchief for emergencies and some kajal as a token of love.
Leela asks Anupama to prepare for Rahi’s farewell. Meanwhile, Vasundhara scolds Anil. Ishani overhears their conversation, worrying Parag that she might tell Anupama. Vasundhara assures him that Ishani won’t reveal anything because she’s selfish like Pakhi.
Ishani confides in Pakhi about Vasundhara and Parag’s conversation. Pakhi advises Ishani to remain quiet so they can stay in the Kotharis’ good books. Ishani feels bad for Rahi, but Pakhi believes Rahi is smart enough to handle the Kotharis.
Meanwhile, Ansh feels restless about Rahi’s farewell, and Prem consoles him. Rahi performs a ritual, with Leela assisting her. Prem asks Anupama to stay with Rahi until her vidai. Leela reminds Anupama to prepare for the farewell, but Prem reveals that one more important ritual is yet to be done.
In a surprise twist, Rahi and Prem celebrate Anupama’s birthday. The Kotharis are shocked to learn that Prem arranged the celebration. Anupama happily celebrates her birthday. Khyati comments to Meeta that in the Kothari house, only children’s birthdays are usually celebrated, adding that everyone deserves a special day.
Prem decides to address Anupama as “Mother.” Vasundhara then insists that Anupama proceed with the vidai ritual.
Precap: Anupama receives a call from the central jail. She meets Raghav, whose behavior leaves her shocked.
