Episode begins with Kavya was in video call with Vanraj, Nandini comes from behind and hugs Kavya in that process mobile slips from Kavya’s hand and the call too get disconnected. Vanraj feels relived realizing that call disconnected before Nandini sees him. Nandini enquiries about Kavya’s injury and gets angry on Anirudh and asks her why didn’t she came to her house. She says she can understand that Kavya feels more safe with Vanraj because he can handle Anirudh. Anupamaa says yesterday Kavya wanted to go to Nandini’s house but she only stopped her after explaining her a lot. Leela makes faces hearing her and taunts her. Jayesh teases Leela. Nandini says she already keep coming to Shah house for dance practice now they can enjoy Paritosh’s engagement together. Samar says he will teach her dance steps. She says he just knows to spoil the performance. Anupamaa smiles hearing them. Nandini goes to Anupamaa and thanks her for helping Kavya and hugs her. Anupamaa says Kavya matters for her too so did nothing big. Nandini praises Anupamaa. Paritosh gets happy seeing Nandini and says without her he could not complete his couple dance steps. Everyone starts to discuss dance steps.
Anirudh calls Kavya and says he called her because he was worried for her and realises she is in Vanraj’s house hearing voices from background. She tells him to not show any fake concern and asks why he called her. He says he called her to inform that he is going out of town for 2days. She gets relived hearing him and cuts the call. She informs Vanraj that she is going back to her house saying Anirudh going out of town and tells him to reach her house for lunch because without him it’s so boring to stay in his house. She tells Anupamaa that she is going back to her house. Anupamaa asks what she will do once Anirudh returns and suggests her to take decision after thinking about everything. Kavya asks how can she stay in her house. Anupamaa tells her to think it as her own house and says Kavya should bring her luggage from her house because she can’t stay there alone and with engagement preparations Vanraj will be busy too. Kavya realises that Vanraj won’t come to office so she decides to stay in Shah house. Sanjay shocks seeing Kavya in Shah house and asks Leela why she is here. Leela tells everything and she is gonna stay here until Paritosh’s engagement all because of Anupamaa. Sanjay thinks Anupamaa is innocent and didn’t know, how big mistake she did by letting Kavya stay in her house.
Vanraj back hugs Kavya saying he missed this a lot. Kavya says she was so happy in his house, first time she realized the importance of family. She says he is so lucky to get a family like that and Anupamaa is such a sweet person. She says he never stayed alone that’s why he won’t understand how painful that feeling is. She wish to be a part of his family but she knows that’s not possible. He says she is not alone he is with her always. She hugs him and asks why can’t they live like other normal couples. Anirudh takes a picture of them and shows it to them. They shocks seeing that. Anirudh blackmails Vanraj saying he will send this picture to Rakhi because Anupamaa won’t believe him. Shah family purchases saree for engagement. Leela tells Dolly to select a saree for Anupamaa. Kavya requests Anirudh to delete the picture and by sending it to Rakhi he will spoil Paritosh’s life. Anirudh says he won’t send it to Rakhi but won’t delete too because he may need this picture in future.
