Anupama 22nd April 2021 Written Update on TellyExpress.com
Episode begins with Anupama reading Vanraj’s letter. The letter says-
Anupama I am really confused after seeing my parents cry and my children hurt. I don’t know what is right to do and I don’t know how to let my family’s happiness go away while just caring for my own happiness. All this has made me guilty and confused. In last few days I have got the chance to live with you the whole 25 years again and I can’t forget that. As the time is passing and the 48 hrs to divorce is getting nearer, I am getting restless and more confused.
On one side there is our divorce of a 25years old relation and on one side marriage with Kavya, everything has made me feel confused. I want time to clear my head and take a clear decision, so I am going far from all this day to day things so that when I spend time with myself I can get the answers. Kavya wouldn’t have understood so I am telling you all this. Like you have always done, please handle the house well behind me.

Anupama is shocked and gets emotional. She feels helpless. Here, Kavya thinks has Vanraj blocked her number as he never puts his phone on switch off. Kavya thinks I never wished to go to thay house again but I have to as I am worried for us. She is about to go but Nandini stops her and says just now so much drama happened and you are planning to go again? I will not let you go. Kavya says I know Nandini you think I am psycho but I am not, I am just worried for Vanraj. Kavya shows Nandini about the delay in divorce. Kavya says I am with Vanraj for last 9 years but my love is not less than a 25 years old relation, I was so waiting for the divorce and now with this delay I am worried about everything. Nandini lets Kavya go. Nandini thinks how she doesn’t think Kavya js psycho, she is just worried that Kavya doesn’t harm herself in all this panic.
The kids and Dolly are waiting in the hall for Anupama and Vanraj to come out of room. They think why is it taking so long. Anupama comes down. Samar says why are you looking worried and where is dad? Anupama says he is not here. She gives the letter to Dolly. Dolly and Pakhi read it. Anupama cries and says I am fed up handlinh this house and responsibilities. Samar says but what happened? Dolly says Vanraj left the house. Samar gets shocked. Anupama says I saw dulhas running before marriage but this is first time I am seeing someone running away from divorce.
Anupama panics and says how can he do this to me again. Anu says this person only knows how to run, when there i problem in office he ran to home, problem in home ran to office, problem with wife, he ran to mistress and now this. Anu says what mistake did I do amidst all this? I am just listening to all the taunts of people saying being a wife how can you ask for divorce but no one understands how many times I broke before taking this decision.
Anupama says I was a wife who gave everything to Vanraj and for whom husband, family and kids were everything and I feared divorce but when Vanraj told me he doesn’t love me I was ready to give away my fears too and asked for divorce as I want my right and not just some favour. Anu says how all this is a big change for me, my name house everything will change but for him everything will remain same, for a man it’s easy to make or break relations still he left everything and ran. Anu says why she has to face everyone in her family broken and he got the chance to run away? I am not asking for him to fight but atleast he can stay and stand with me while I fight. Dolly says Vanraj did really wrong.
Samar says he has always thought about himself only. Anu throws a flower vase and says he always did wrong, now when everything is happening according to him and he is getting married to Kavya as well, then also he only ran, what will Kavya think, she will blame me that to delay divorce I senr Vanraj away. She cries and then keeps the vase back. Anupama says we need to find Vanraj to know where he is and if he is alright or not. Pakhi says what if he doesn’t want to be found. Anupama says everything won’t happen according to him, if he wants his family shouldn’t care or shouldn’t ask about him it won’t happen. They think of whom all they can call. Then Anupama says we can also ask Kavya.
Kavya comes just then and says what will Kavya know and how will I know where is Vanraj? What is going on? I am sure all of this is your fault only. Anupama tells her that Vanraj has gone somewhere and we need to find him. Kavya remembers all her recent fights with Vanraj and cries and sits down. Anupama tries to calm her down and at a point she shouts and says this is the person you are going to marry so make a habit to wipe your own tears.
Kavya says it’s all you fault! I know you and Vanraj don’t want to divorce now and that’s why all this drama, tell me where is Vanraj, I haven’t seen such a oversmart woman like you. Anupama says I haven’t seen such a dumb woman as you as you can’t understand this is the time to find Vanraj. Anu says divorce will happen and it will happen for me and for my satisfaction. Dolly gives the letter to Kavya and says see Vanraj left because he was frustrated with you and it is proved that you are an outsider. Kavya breaks down.

Precap: police comes to Anupama saying they suspect that Vanraj has committed suicide and body is in ambulance. Everyone panics. Here, Kavya sends one last message to Vanraj.
