In today’s episode, Leela asks Anupama if she is missing something. Anupama says Leela is listening to her heart. Leela asks Anupama if she can’t stay back. She questions why Anupama wants to return to Mumbai and live with strangers. Leela says everyone wants Anupama to stay. Anupama is shocked.
Anupama says that four generations are praying together. She blesses Kinjal and Prarthana. Leela asks Prarthana to prepare something for the kitchen ritual and not to keep the fast. Anupama asks Prarthana to take rest and not tire herself. Leela asks Anupama to go to the temple since it is both Anuj’s birthday and Janmashtami. Anupama confesses her love for Anuj.
The Kotharis pray together. Vasundhara decides to celebrate Janmashtami. Parag says that because of Prarthana he went to the Shahs. Vasundhara accuses Parag of forgetting other relationships to protect just one. Anil asks Vasundhara and Parag not to fight on Janmashtami.
Anupama decides to celebrate Anuj’s birthday. She bumps into Rahi. Rahi asks Anupama what she is trying to prove—that she loves Anuj? She says Anupama only loves herself. Anupama replies that Anuj wanted them to celebrate his birthday together, which is why they are present at the same time. Rahi gets irritated and says that since Anupama left, they are celebrating Anuj’s birthday alone. Rahi taunts that Anupama can never become a mother, and that is why she is desperate to compete with her in the dance. Anupama retorts that she can say the same about Rahi. Rahi declares that she will win the competition to break Anupama’s ego. Prem asks Rahi not to argue. Rahi says she will celebrate Anuj’s birthday first and asks Prem to tell Anupama to wait. Anupama decides to wait. She talks to Anuj, saying Rahi is rude but cute, and admits that she has become used to Rahi’s behavior.
Jignesh dresses up as Lord Krishna and surprises the Shahs. Anupama looks for the dance performers. Sarita says this is the first time she will see a Gujarati Janmashtami. Leela explains that in Gujarat, first they pray to Baal Gopal and then perform Garba. Meanwhile, Rahi and Prem perform as Radha and Krishna and dance.
The Shahs and the Kotharis celebrate Janmashtami. Anupama and Rahi both miss Anuj. – Episode Ends
