In today’s episode, Anupama reacts strongly upon seeing Diwaker. Overwhelmed with anger, she attacks him verbally and says she regrets leaving him earlier. Pakhi pushes Anupama away and asks her to control herself, stating that Diwaker is going to be her husband and the Shah family’s son-in-law. Leela questions where Pakhi found Diwaker. Pakhi reveals that she met him at a college reunion and claims that Diwaker never married because of her.
Anupama warns Pakhi that she is getting trapped in Diwaker’s false story. Pakhi retorts that if Anupama can marry twice, then why can’t she. She adds that if it was right for Anuj to wait for 26 years, then Diwaker waiting should not be considered wrong. Anupama urges Pakhi to learn the truth about Diwaker.
Rahi and Prem intervene. Rahi asks Pakhi to understand that Diwaker is a bad man and reveals what he did to her. Anupama once again requests Pakhi not to take a foolish decision. Pakhi insists that Diwaker is not a criminal but a victim and claims that he has already told her everything. Diwaker then accuses Rahi of giving him signals. Enraged, Anupama and Rahi slap Diwaker.
Kinjal suggests that if Pakhi wants to get married, they can find another suitable man for her. Paritosh warns Pakhi, but she firmly decides to marry Diwaker. Rahi tries to make Pakhi understand, but Pakhi asks her to stay away and also tells Anupama not to interfere. Anupama says that as a mother, she has the right to interfere and reminds Pakhi that she has tolerated her rude and insolent behaviour for years. She pleads with Pakhi not to make the biggest mistake of her life.
Pakhi asks Anupama to stop lecturing her. She accuses the family of always judging her and never understanding her loneliness. She praises Diwaker for understanding her pain. Anupama says that Diwaker is mentally unstable and calls him a psycho. Paritosh once again asks Pakhi to find a good man and get married.
Anupama emotionally pleads with Pakhi not to marry Diwaker, warning her that she will regret it. She asks Pakhi to think about Ishani. Leela requests Ishani to talk to Pakhi. Ishani tells Pakhi that she never realised how lonely Pakhi felt and says she is fine with her decision. However, she urges Pakhi to listen to Anupama, reminding her that whenever they ignore Anupama’s advice, they land in trouble. Pakhi refuses to listen and announces her wedding with Diwaker.
Ansh tells Anupama to let Pakhi ruin her own life and says Pakhi does not have the right to spoil his special day. Anupama agrees with Ansh and asks everyone to get ready. Pakhi complains that no one is thinking about her and remains adamant about marrying Diwaker. Anupama says too much drama has already happened and prays to God to save her from further drama at the Kothari house. Meanwhile, Gautam thinks that everyone will enjoy today’s baby shower.
Later, Ansh tells Anupama that even though she is upset, he is still asking her to get ready. He expresses his disappointment over Pakhi’s foolish behaviour. Anupama says Pakhi is making a grave mistake. Ishani informs Anupama that Pakhi has returned and gone to her room. Ansh asks Anupama to speak to Pakhi first and get ready later.
Prem asks Rahi what she is thinking. Rahi says she feels a storm is approaching from all sides. Prem and Rahi decide to stand by each other. Anupama once again pleads with Pakhi not to ruin her life. Pakhi then shows her wedding dress, gifted by Diwaker, and asks Anupama for her opinion. Anupama is left shocked.

Ansh asks Anupama whether a decision taken by two people for their peace should be called selfish. Anupama replies that if a decision brings happiness to someone without hurting others, it cannot be called selfish. Ansh thanks her and asks her to wait for the right time regarding his decision. Vasundhara decides to go to the farmhouse. When Khyati asks the reason, Vasundhara says she does not like the Shahs. Prarthana adds that the Shahs will not come.
Our Take:
Anupama is fully aware that Pakhi is stubborn, and unfortunately, all her children share similar traits. The episode drags on with Anupama repeatedly trying to stop Pakhi from marrying Diwaker. It is evident that Pakhi and Diwaker’s marriage will eventually happen. Anupama’s lectures could have been shorter, especially when she clearly knows that Pakhi is not going to listen despite constant pleading. After acknowledging Pakhi’s stubborn nature, Anupama continues to waste time trying to convince her.
