The episode starts with Mukul Chadda confronting Rishabh, saying, “This house is registered under Bhagyashree’s name, so how did her husband and his family suddenly arrive?”
Vinay is shocked and asks, “If Bhagyashree didn’t marry them, why are you pretending to be her husband?” Sowmya says, “I had my doubts earlier too. We were wrong to trust Bhagyashree again.” She tells Karthik, “Your sister has made fools of us once more.”
Mukul continues mocking them, questioning how Bhagyashree’s husband appeared overnight. He even criticizes Bhagyashree’s upbringing. Hearing this, Vinay collapses. Rishabh slaps Mukul for insulting Bhagyashree.
Mukul demands to see their marriage certificate, and Sowmya agrees. Rishabh, sensing something fishy, cleverly discovers that Mukul has a personal grudge against Bhagyashree. He tells Vinay, “Bhagyashree once slapped this man, which is why he’s targeting her now.” He asks Vinay and Padma, “Whom do you trust — Bhagyashree or this society secretary and his friend?” Rishabh throws Mukul and his friend out, saying, “I’ll show the marriage certificate in front of the entire society.”
Rishabh tries to talk to Vinay, but Vinay walks away with his family. Rishabh then calls Bhagyashree and tells her that Mukul claimed to her father that she’s single and their marriage is fake. Bhagyashree is shocked and asks if her father is okay. Rishabh assures her that he handled the situation and promised to show the certificate publicly.
Bhagyashree worries and asks how they’ll arrange the certificate. Rishabh says they’ll manage somehow. Bhagyashree tells Nitya and the team there’s a family emergency and leaves the meeting.
Bhagyshree returns home and meets Rishabh. Meanwhile, Vinay begins packing his bags. Padma asks him to wait until Bhagyashree returns and to trust Rishabh since he promised to show the marriage certificate. Rishabh tells Bhagyashree to follow his plan so they can manage the family.
Vinay says, “I don’t understand why Bhagyashree is staying in a place where her character is constantly questioned.” He insists on leaving. To stop him, Bhagyashree and Rishabh stage a fake fight in the hall over the marriage certificate. The family overhears and comes out to intervene.
Padma pleads with them not to fight and says, “We’re not going anywhere.” Rishabh pretends to be angry and says he’s going for a walk. Padma offers to join him. When Rishabh asks her to wear track pants, she hesitates but agrees. Bhagyashree thanks Rishabh for handling things.
Padma later sees Vinay placing his luggage back in the cupboard. She’s relieved and says, “I’m glad you changed your decision.” Vinay replies, “I’m staying until tomorrow’s society meeting. I want to know the full truth.”
Vinay comes out of the room. When Bhagyashree invites him for a walk, he refuses. Karthik compliments Padma’s look in track pants and a shirt, which shocks Vinay. He then agrees to join them.
As Rishabh and Padma head out for the walk, Vinay asks Bhagyashree to tell him the truth about Rishabh. Bhagyashree says emotionally, “Rishabh can do anything for my happiness. I lied when I said I could live without you. The truth is, I love you both—I can’t live without you and Mom. My life is incomplete without you.” Vinay gets emotional and hugs her.
During the walk, Padma tells Rishabh not to worry about what society says. Spotting some society ladies nearby, Rishabh decides to win them over. He tells Padma that he’ll go to the gym to vent his frustration, and she agrees.
At the gym, Rishabh charms Lajjo, Geetu, Babita, and Tanu. He introduces himself as Bhagyashree’s husband, explaining that he works on a ship and had been away. He says he returned to win over Bhagyashree’s family, but Mukul Chadda misbehaved and created doubts in her parents’ minds.
The ladies side with Rishabh, saying, “You don’t even need to show any certificate. We support you.”
Later, Bhagyashree gets ready to go out for dinner with the family. Rishabh compliments her, saying, “You look beautiful. Wear a black bindi to protect from the evil eye.” Vinay and Padma see them. Karthik informs that Sowmya isn’t feeling well and won’t join them. Padma tells Karthik to cancel the plan, but Sowmya insists they go ahead.
After sending them off, Sowmya thinks to herself, “I’ll find out what truth Bhagyashree is hiding.”

Precap: At the society meeting, Chadda’s group presents documents claiming Bhagyashree submitted proof of being single when she first moved into the apartment. Vinay looks on in shock.
