Colors tv show Balika Vadhu is currently showing how elders are deceiving Anandi by telling her that all the rituals and marriage is just a show for grandmother’s well being. While innocent Anandi complies to do everything, will she realize that her life’s important decisions have already been made by elders without her acknowledgement?
In the previous episode Anandi came to Premji’s house and along with Jigar performed various rituals. Out of competitiveness Jigar even tried to hurt Anandi during rituals. While Devadi also felt jealous seeing Baa gifting her traditional heavy necklace to Anandi. Amidst all these both Khimji and Ratan got worried for Anandi as she is still very young to understand everything. Khimji requested Premji not to proceed with all the rituals.
However in the upcoming episodes we will see priest saying Anandi to keep the earthen lamp lighted whole day and night. Later someone will come and say no mistake will be tolerated during prayers and will ask Anandi to be punished. Ratan will ask Khimji how can a little girl like Anandi fulfill such difficult prayer rituals. Anandi will cry infront of goddess idol and ask why is getting punished when she has not done anything wrong.
