The episode starts with Anirudh telling the results that the girls got: Bondita got 10/10, Ramaya 9, Badal 5, Suraya 4 and Elaichi only 3. He says that they studied together and asks Elaichi why she forgets then. He tells everyone that there is no need of fearing the competition. He trusts all of them.
Trilochan says that only one hour is left for the challenge yet none except Bondita is ready. He asks Anirudh to look at his team: all are handicapped horses who cannot even run. He says that also the last fifty minutes of the book were missing. He asks what was the need of taking up the challenge for these girls’ education right. However, Anirudh trusts his team and says that they will win.
While Anirudh explains things to his class, Trilochan looks at him and says that he cannot see him becoming Saudamini’s servant until he is alive.
One hour later, the two teams unite for the challenge. Saudamini asks Anirudh whether she remembers what he has to do if they lose the competition. Bondita reminds her that if they lose then Greenwood will have to leave his officiary.
The principal comes and says that after ten minutes they will start the competition and in the meantime they can eat some light food. He has arranged everything inside: on one side there will be girls and in the other side there will be boys.
While everyone goes inside, Elaichi makes excuse that she has lost a jhumka and goes to meet Saudamini. The latter orders her to mix sleeping powder in the rasgulla bowl of the girls so that they fall asleep. She asks Elaichi to pretend to sleep as well and promises her that her husband will come to take her after that.
After few minutes, Elaichi mixes the powder in the bowl. All the girls excitedly have rasgulla. Saudamini smirks looking at them. Trilochan notices that and he is sure that she has done something. He says that only Bondita is the intelligent one in Anirudh’s team. Binoy agrees but he is sure that Bondita will handle everything.
Time for the competition to start comes. Anirudh encourages his team and so does Saudamini. Bondita yawns. Anirudh scolds her and asks her to go to take her seat. Boys are sitting on one side and the girls on the other. The girls feel sleepy. Anirudh, Binoy and Trilochan get worried noticing that.
The principal explains that there will be around twenty questions that will be asked and anyone who knows the answer should play the bell. One right answer will be one point and no answer means zero points.
The whole girls team falls asleep. Anirudh rushes to them to awake them. He asks to stop the competition but the principal says that it has to start at the right moment. Saudamini says that the girls are just pretending to fall asleep and blames Anirudh for making this excuse just to escape the competition. Anirudh is sure that she plotted something and that is why all the girls fell asleep at the same moment. Saudamini says that she didn’t even go near his team so she cannot have done anything.
Saudamini asks the principal to start the competition. He says that they must start at the right time and asks Anirudh to go to sit on his seat. Anirudh goes to sit.
Trilochan is frustrated and leaves because he cannot see such a tricked competition. He walks out. Binoy follows him and stops him saying that the competition just started. Trilochan says that it has ended already. He says that they should leave Tulsipur so he is going to gather jewels and money from the mansion. Binoy asks where he is willing to go. Trilochan says that they can go to London. He leaves.
The competition starts. The principal starts asking questions. The first point goes to the male team. The boys don’t know the answer to the second question. Bondita pulls the string playing the bell. Everyone looks at her.
