The episode starts with Kiran announcing to everyone that there is good news. She then reveals that Malishka is pregnant, which leaves everyone shocked, especially Rishi and Lakshmi. Kiran calls Rishi near Malishka and says that Malishka is becoming the mother of Rishi’s child. She congratulates the couple. Balwinder looks surprised, while Ayush tells Shalu that it’s impossible. Anushka congratulates Malishka. Rishi tries to question Malishka, but before she can respond, the doctor arrives and clarifies that Kiran is mistaken. She explains that Malishka is not pregnant and only has acidity. The doctor gives Malishka some medicine. Kiran apologizes to everyone. Lakshmi leaves the scene. Rishi asks Kiran not to make such mistakes again and goes after Lakshmi.
Rishi tries to talk to Lakshmi, but she asks him to leave. Kiran attempts to talk to Malishka, but she walks away. Karishma stops Kiran and questions how she misunderstood the symptoms. Kiran thinks to herself that she can’t reveal anything until she talks to Malishka. She lies to Karishma and manages the situation.
Malishka collides with a servant and scolds him before he leaves. Frustrated, Malishka receives a call from Sonal. On the call, she angrily tells Sonal that she will finally feel relieved once Lakshmi burns alive because of the cracker-stuffed dupatta that Lakshmi is wearing. Parvati overhears Malishka’s plan. She notices Malishka’s dupatta lying nearby, takes it, and seeks Shalu’s help to replace Lakshmi’s dupatta with Malishka’s. Parvati returns the cracker-filled dupatta to Malishka. Shalu asks Parvati why she exchanged the dupattas. Parvati explains that it was to save Lakshmi from Malishka’s plan.
Malishka gestures to some kids, who place crackers around Lakshmi. Malishka thinks this Diwali will turn unhappy for Lakshmi. The kids light the crackers, scaring Lakshmi. Rishi sees Lakshmi in danger and feels terrified. He rushes to help her. Meanwhile, Malishka waits for Lakshmi’s dupatta to catch fire, but it doesn’t happen. Everyone shouts in fear. Balwinder fetches water to control the fire. Rishi reaches Lakshmi and saves her. Parvati and Shalu also join Lakshmi.
However, Malishka’s dupatta catches fire, and she screams for help. She calls out to Rishi, but Balwinder intervenes, saying he won’t let anything happen to Lakshmi. He pours water on Malishka instead. Balwinder then wonders where Lakshmi went. Everyone is shocked to see Balwinder. Rishi removes Balwinder’s fake beard, revealing his identity.
