The episode starts with Rishi thinking about how he could improve his relationship with Lakshmi. He feels hurt as, whenever he tries to get close to her, she pushes him away. Lakshmi, in her heart, apologizes to Rishi for hurting him, as his attempts to get closer remind her of the past, where he caused her pain. Rishi silently tells Lakshmi that he knows he made many mistakes in the past and has apologized for them. Lakshmi, in turn, admits in her heart that she knows Rishi is trying to mend things between them, but she doesn’t understand why she gets angry with him.
Lakshmi approaches Rishi and apologizes for her behavior toward him. Rishi tells Lakshmi that he feels relieved by her words. He confesses that it hurts him deeply when she misunderstands him. Rishi adds that he cannot express in words how much he loves her and that he is sincerely trying to make things right between them.
Lakshmi admits that sometimes she feels Rishi is good to her, but then she remembers how his actions in the past proved that he doesn’t value her. She accuses Rishi of making her feel insignificant, recalling the time she found him and Malishka together on the bed. Kiran is shocked and disgusted by the revelation, criticizing Malishka for sleeping with Balwinder. Malishka acknowledges her mistake, admitting that it ruined everything for her. Kiran, overcome with anger, slaps Malishka and announces that she is cutting all ties with her. Kiran leaves, and Malishka breaks down, questioning why she made such a terrible decision.
Back in Lakshmi’s room, Rishi tends to her burns. Lakshmi confesses her inner turmoil to Rishi, saying she is unsure whether she can trust him. She tells him that the way he cares for her makes him the dream man of many girls. However, she feels torn—her heart tells her to trust him, but her mind says otherwise.
Rishi urges Lakshmi to listen to her heart and explains how much she means to him, saying he is nothing without her. As he speaks, Malishka enters and witnesses their intimate moment. She feels tormented, blaming herself for everything that has gone wrong.
