The episode starts with Shalu reflecting on what happened with Ayush. Shalu cries to herself, holding onto a wooden pole. Shalu hears the temple bell ringing and leaves for the temple. Lakshmi follows Shalu.
Shalu reaches Maata Rani and prays, asking Maata Rani to save Ayush and for his well-being. Later, Shalu speaks to Maata Rani, telling her that she wasn’t able to express her true feelings for Ayush. Shalu asks Maata Rani to save Ayush, saying she can’t live without him. Lakshmi witnesses all of this.
Lakshmi asks Shalu why she said no if she can’t live without him. Shalu remains silent. Lakshmi asks Shalu to answer her.
The police put Anushka in a cell. The cops tell Anushka to get used to staying there because she’ll be there for a long time.
Shalu tries to leave, but Lakshmi stops her and asks why she doesn’t accept Ayush. Lakshmi tells Shalu that Ayush is a really nice guy who loves her very much. Lakshmi explains that Ayush had asked for her help in convincing Shalu to be with him. Lakshmi also tells Shalu that Ayush explained the circumstances under which he had to marry Anushka, and that Shalu should forgive him for it.
Anushka threatens the lady constable, saying she won’t leave her once she gets out of there. The constable tells Anushka to shut up and says that if their madam comes, she’ll teach her a lesson. Anushka remains silent.
Lakshmi speaks to Shalu, telling her that Ayush always loved her. Lakshmi says when Ayush found out Anushka was betraying him, he didn’t waste a moment to propose to Shalu. Lakshmi thought Shalu would say yes to Ayush, but instead, she acted as if she didn’t care about him. Shalu tells Lakshmi that she loves Ayush so much that she can’t bear to see him get hurt. Lakshmi asks Shalu why she said no to Ayush then.
Anushka blames Lakshmi for her being in jail. She thinks that if Lakshmi hadn’t come into Rishi’s life, Shalu wouldn’t have come into Ayush’s life, and all of this wouldn’t be happening. Anushka decides to destroy Lakshmi.
Lakshmi asks Shalu to tell her why she didn’t say yes to Ayush. Shalu reminds Lakshmi that Neelam makes the rules in that house. Shalu says Neelam doesn’t like her one bit, and if she marries Ayush, Ayush would lose everything in that house.
Neelam is shown to be worried about Ayush. Rishi says he will go and ask the doctor if they can meet Ayush once. Rishi leaves.
Lakshmi tells Shalu that Neelam doesn’t hate her. Shalu says Neelam might not hate her, but she hates Lakshmi, so she will never allow this marriage to happen.
Kiran talks to Neelam and tells her that she thinks Shalu is a bad omen for Ayush. She says that since Shalu came into Ayush’s life, all of this has been happening. Neelam disagrees and says she believes Shalu is a good omen for Ayush.
Lakshmi tells Shalu she’s overthinking. Shalu replies that she knows the people in that house really well, and what she said is the truth. Lakshmi says Shalu is hurting Ayush by rejecting him. Shalu responds that if she said yes, Ayush’s entire career would be destroyed, and comments further on it. Shalu says that if a marriage happens against the family’s will, they will never accept it, citing herself as an example.
