The episode starts with Lakshmi telling the nurse that she has the same blood type as Rohan, i.e., O+. Lakshmi asks the nurse not to tell anyone about the blood donation. She also tells Parvati that this should remain a secret between them and asks Parvati not to disclose the donation to anyone. Parvati agrees. Lakshmi asks the nurse to take Parvati to Neelam, and the nurse agrees. The nurse then asks an attendant to take Lakshmi to the blood donation room, while she escorts Parvati away.
The nurse brings Parvati to the Oberoi family. Neelam asks Parvati where her mother is, and the nurse replies that her mother isn’t here. The Oberoi family criticizes Lakshmi, calling her an irresponsible mother. Parvati defends Lakshmi, saying that she is a responsible mother who brought her here, and once she learned about Rohan’s condition, she went to pray for him. Parvati adds that Lakshmi truly loves her and Rohan. Rishi asks the nurse if the blood has been arranged, and the nurse confirms that a woman has come forward to donate blood for Rohan. The Oberoi family expresses their gratitude to the anonymous donor.
The nurse returns to Lakshmi, who is shown donating her blood for Rohan. As the nurse collects Lakshmi’s blood, she praises her, saying that Rohan is fortunate to have her in his life. Lakshmi responds that she would do anything for her son. The nurse remarks that she thought Lakshmi was Rohan’s real mother, as their faces even resemble each other. Lakshmi reflects that even though Rohan may not be her biological son, he is her son now.
Malishka blames Lakshmi for Rohan’s condition. Parvati defends Lakshmi, telling Malishka that she is wrong and that Lakshmi is not responsible for Rohan’s situation. Malishka argues with Parvati, but Parvati insists she was present at the time. Malishka claims she was also there. Parvati counters that if Malishka was there, she wouldn’t be blaming Lakshmi. Parvati explains that Rohan was playing on the staircase railing, and although Lakshmi told him to stop, he didn’t listen, which led to his injury. Harleen asks Parvati if this is true, and Parvati confirms it. Malishka argues that Rohan fell because of Lakshmi, claiming that ash fell into his eyes. Parvati asserts that Lakshmi was with her at the time and couldn’t have been near Rohan, accusing Malishka of lying. Neelam tries to calm Malishka, but she refuses to stop. Neelam eventually takes Malishka away.
Neelam reprimands Malishka, asking how she could argue with Parvati like that. Neelam reminds Malishka that Parvati is her granddaughter, and she will not tolerate anyone raising their voice against her. Neelam admits that she now believes Parvati is telling the truth and regrets listening to Malishka. Neelam warns Malishka never to speak to Parvati in that manner again. Malishka agrees.
Malishka later complains to Aanchal and Karishma about how Neelam sided with Lakshmi. Aanchal and Karishma clarify that Neelam sided with Parvati, not Lakshmi. Aanchal also points out that Neelam was specifically telling Malishka not to behave poorly with Parvati, but she continues to harp on it. Karishma and Aanchal advise Malishka to do what she wants with Lakshmi but not to involve Parvati, warning that Neelam will always get involved when it concerns Parvati.
Malishka reflects on the situation and realizes that Parvati, not Lakshmi, is her biggest obstacle, as Lakshmi remains in the Oberoi household because of Parvati. Parvati is the glue holding Rishi and Lakshmi together.
Neelam returns to Parvati. Parvati asks if she explained things to Malishka, and Neelam confirms she did and admits she also realized her mistake. Lakshmi then arrives. Malishka asks Lakshmi why she is there and reminds her that Neelam had ordered her to stay away from Rohan. Just then, the doctor arrives, and Lakshmi inquires about Rohan’s condition. The doctor informs her that Rohan is out of danger and is calling for Lakshmi. Malishka tries to dismiss the doctor’s words, but the doctor insists that he heard correctly. Lakshmi becomes emotional and starts to leave, but Neelam stops her and tells her to go see Rohan. Lakshmi goes to meet Rohan.
