The episode starts with Rishi telling Lakshmi that he will never do anything wrong as long as their relationship is respected. He promises her this and then leaves.
Neelam recalls Rishi’s words, where he told her that he cannot choose between her and Lakshmi because both are equally important to him.
Karishma approaches Neelam and asks why she looks stressed. Neelam tells Karishma that she was upset with Rishi because of the way he behaved with Malishka when Malishka threatened to leave. She says she scolded Rishi a lot and even asked him to choose between Lakshmi and her. However, Rishi later came to her room, apologized for his behavior, and reaffirmed that both Lakshmi and Neelam are equally important to him. Neelam then comments on Lakshmi.
Just then, Malishka arrives and tells Neelam that once Lakshmi leaves, Rishi will realize he doesn’t love her as much as he thinks. Neelam agrees with Malishka and then asks her to call Kiran, as they need to discuss Rishi and Malishka’s future. Malishka agrees and leaves.
Meanwhile, Shalu arrives at the Oberoi mansion. Malishka spots her and asks why she is there at such a late hour. Shalu replies that she came to meet Lakshmi. Malishka questions why she would come in the middle of the night, but Shalu counters by asking who Malishka is to question her. Despite Malishka’s persistent questioning, Shalu refuses to answer. Ayush arrives and also asks Shalu why she is there. Shalu repeats that she came to meet Lakshmi. Ayush agrees and takes her inside. Malishka becomes suspicious, thinking that Shalu is up to something. She tries calling Kiran for help, but Kiran doesn’t answer.
Karishma then asks Neelam why she wants to meet Kiran. Neelam explains that she wants to discuss Rishi and Malishka’s engagement and what needs to be done after Lakshmi leaves.
Lakshmi, on the other hand, reflects on the situation, thinking that she shouldn’t be a problem between Rishi and Neelam. She also worries that Rishi’s heart will break once she leaves.
Karishma comments on Shalu to Neelam, expressing concerns that she might create problems. Neelam assures her that she will handle it if necessary.
Meanwhile, Ayush questions Shalu about why she wants to meet Lakshmi at this hour. Shalu insists that she needs to speak to Lakshmi privately.
Shalu then sees Rishi and asks him where Lakshmi is. Rishi tells her that Lakshmi is in his room. When Lakshmi comes out, she asks Shalu why she has come. Shalu says she needs to talk to her. Rishi and Ayush try to intervene, asking why she is there, but Shalu doesn’t answer and instead takes Lakshmi aside. Curious, Rishi and Ayush decide to eavesdrop on their conversation.
Shalu asks Lakshmi if she knew that the cold storage room was welded shut from the outside while she was inside. Lakshmi says no. Shalu expresses her suspicion and reveals that she saw Malishka and Balwinder together at the hospital, suspecting there is a connection between them. Lakshmi recalls the events at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Balwinder, disguised in a saree, sneaks around looking for Lakshmi.
Malishka goes to Kiran’s room and finds her unconscious inside a cupboard. She revives Kiran, who then tells her that Balwinder has escaped. Malishka panics.
Lakshmi asks Shalu why she came now. Shalu repeats her suspicion that Malishka and Balwinder were involved in the cold storage incident, as she saw them together at the hospital. Lakshmi takes Shalu to a room and reveals that Malishka went to the hospital with her baby’s father—and that it’s not Rishi. Shalu then questions if Malishka is carrying Balwinder’s child.
Elsewhere, Anushka arrives at Neel’s house and informs him that Balwinder saw her face. Neel scolds her.
Back at the Oberoi mansion, Rishi and Ayush listen in on Lakshmi and Shalu’s conversation and wonder why they are discussing Balwinder.
A worker notices Balwinder in disguise and follows him. Meanwhile, Anushka tells Neel that they need to stop Balwinder; otherwise, Malishka won’t help them. She then leaves.
Shalu asks Lakshmi if she knows who locked her in the cold storage. Lakshmi thinks of Malishka. Just then, Manish notices a man in women’s clothing and shouts, alerting everyone.
Malishka’s associate knocks Balwinder unconscious and, with Malishka’s help, takes him to Neelam’s room. However, they hide when they realize it’s Neelam’s room.
Rishi, Ayush, Shalu, and Lakshmi come downstairs and learn from Mukesh what happened. Lakshmi suspects Anushka is behind it.
Meanwhile, Neelam steps out of the washroom, sensing someone’s presence, and asks, “Who’s there?
