The episode starts with Neelam asking Lakshmi to call Shalu. Lakshmi asks Neelam why. Neelam explains to Lakshmi that she had asked Rishi not to bring Lakshmi to the party, as she might feel awkward, and she was right. Neelam suggests Lakshmi call Shalu to keep her company at the party. Lakshmi agrees and calls Shalu. Shalu answers the call and says she needs to tell Lakshmi something. However, Lakshmi interrupts her and asks Shalu to come to the party to give her company. Shalu agrees. Neelam later asks Lakshmi if Shalu is coming, and Lakshmi confirms. Neelam then leaves.
Malishka approaches Kiran. Kiran advises Malishka to use the anniversary party to make everyone believe that she and Rishi are really close. She suggests Malishka take Rishi to her bedroom and spend quality time with him the whole night. Malishka hesitates and says Rishi would never agree to such a thing. Kiran reassures Malishka, saying she has already thought it through and urges her not to worry. Kiran reminds Malishka that this is her last chance.
Abhay hands Rishi a drink and strikes up a conversation. Rishi notices Lakshmi and leaves the conversation midway.
Abhay then asks Ayush about his wife. Ayush makes a sarcastic comment. Abhay remarks that men tend to behave like gentlemen when they are with their wives and continues teasing.
Rishi approaches Lakshmi with a drink in hand. Lakshmi tells him not to drink it. Rishi clarifies that he wasn’t planning to drink it; Abhay had simply placed it in his hand. He then gives the drink to a waiter and asks him to take it away.
Malishka later approaches Rishi and asks him to come with her. Meanwhile, Karishma comes to Lakshmi and says what she is seeing is the reality. Karishma tells Lakshmi that, in society’s eyes, Rishi and Malishka are already married and are meant to be together. Karishma then leaves. Lakshmi reflects on Karishma’s words, thinking that if Rishi and Malishka are truly husband and wife, there is no place for her in his life.
Malishka announces to everyone that she and Rishi will perform a dance to make the anniversary party special. She dances with Rishi while Lakshmi watches from afar. Shalu arrives and notices the scene. She asks Lakshmi why Malishka is dancing with Rishi in such a way. Lakshmi, feeling uncomfortable, leaves with Shalu. After the dance, Rishi looks for Lakshmi.
Lakshmi tells Shalu that Malishka danced with Rishi to prove she has a right over him. Shalu questions why Lakshmi continues to stay and witness such things. She urges Lakshmi to leave. However, Lakshmi says she doesn’t want to ruin the party for anyone and decides to stay.
Rishi asks Ayush if he has seen Lakshmi. Ayush asks Rishi where he saw her last. Rishi replies that she was with Shalu. Ayush then asks when Shalu arrived, but Rishi says he doesn’t know. Ayush goes off to look for Shalu.
Meanwhile, Malishka calls Rishi and puts on an act in front of the guests, trying to convince everyone that she and Rishi are deeply in love.
Kiran talks to Karishma, asking her thoughts on the situation. Karishma says Rishi and Malishka really do look like a couple. Kiran agrees, affirming that they are indeed a couple. Karishma questions Kiran’s stance, saying she knows Rishi likes Lakshmi. Kiran dismisses this, explaining it’s all just an act. Neelam also comments that she feels Rishi and Malishka are a perfect match. Kiran thinks to herself that everything is going according to plan.
Shalu compliments Lakshmi on her purity and kindness. Lakshmi asks Shalu what she wanted to tell her earlier. Shalu reveals that Balwinder came to the house again yesterday, and Rishi nearly caught him. However, Balwinder managed to escape, and the person who helped him was none other than Malishka. Lakshmi is shocked and asks why Malishka would help Balwinder. Shalu admits she doesn’t know but says something suspicious is going on.
