The episode begins with Neelam telling Karishma that she has decided to hold Shalu and Ayush’s engagement tomorrow. She asks her to call Rano. Karishma calls Rano and informs her about their decision. Rano agrees, and Ayush and Shalu feel happy upon hearing the news. Malishka overhears their conversation and immediately informs Anushka, asking her to stop the engagement with her plans.
Dadi and Aanchal return home and see the house beautifully decorated. Dadi feels delighted upon learning that the arrangements for Ayush and Shalu’s engagement are in progress. She excitedly declares that she will dance with joy and leaves. Later, Shalu gets ready for the engagement. Lakshmi praises her, saying she looks beautiful in her engagement attire. She reassures Shalu that their parents will bless her on her big day. Shalu gets emotional and hugs her. Meanwhile, Ayush also gets ready, and Rishi teases him. Ayush tells Rishi that he wants a relationship like the one Rishi and Lakshmi share.
Malishka approaches Rishi and tells him that she is not feeling well, asking him to hold her hands for a while. Rishi complies. Lakshmi, who happens to pass by, sees them and quietly walks away. Meanwhile, Shalu imagines her face covered in black ink and frantically tries to wipe it off. Rano arrives and compliments her, telling her that she looks beautiful. Shalu realizes that the past incident is still affecting her.
Lakshmi, lost in thought, recalls Rishi holding Malishka’s hands. Meanwhile, Shalu comes downstairs with Rano. Aanchal praises Shalu, saying she looks like the perfect bahu of the house. She then goes to bring Ayush. Rano comments on Aanchal, but Lakshmi defends her, explaining that her change in behavior is natural. Rano agrees, saying that even she has changed after witnessing Lakshmi’s goodness. They share a warm hug, which Karishma overhears.
Karishma later confronts Aanchal, questioning why she praised Shalu. Aanchal explains her reasons. Meanwhile, Malishka arrives downstairs with Rishi. Upon seeing Lakshmi, Rishi lets go of Malishka’s hand. He then dances with Ayush before inviting Lakshmi to join him. Soon, Ayush, Shalu, and the others join in, and they all enjoy the moment. Malishka, failing to get Rishi’s attention, feels jealous.
Dadi excitedly announces that today, two lovers will get engaged. Meanwhile, Rano sends Lakshmi to fetch the rings. Anushka notices the presence of new security guards. She attempts to enter the function by misleading them but fails.
