The episode begins with Dadi asking the Pandit to start the engagement rituals. As the ceremony begins, Shalu is momentarily overwhelmed by memories of a past incident and starts feeling anxious. Lakshmi and the others call out to her, bringing her back to reality. Regaining her composure, Shalu proceeds with the engagement, exchanging rings with Ayush. The family members congratulate the newly engaged couple, and Neelam asks everyone to have dinner before leaving.
After the engagement, Shalu takes pictures with Ayush and sends them to Anushka, hoping to make her jealous. Seeing the photos, Anushka shows them to a security guard, claiming to be a close relative. Believing her, the guard allows her inside. Anushka smirks, convinced she can break Ayush and Shalu’s relationship. Meanwhile, Shalu remains confident that Anushka will now realize she stands no chance of coming between her and Ayush. Disguising herself, Anushka enters the venue with a hidden agenda.
Elsewhere, Rishi approaches Lakshmi to congratulate her and pulls her into a hug. Teasing and flirting with her, he enjoys her flustered reactions before she walks away. Kiran and Malishka observe this from a distance, and Malishka grows restless. Meanwhile, Rishi notices a ring and mischievously decides to slip it onto Lakshmi’s finger. He seals the moment with a kiss on her hand, much to Malishka’s dismay. However, Neelam witnesses this and storms off in anger. Lakshmi tries to remove the ring, but Rishi stops her, leading to an intense moment between them.
Karishma notices Neelam’s distress and asks her what’s wrong. Neelam confesses her fear that Rishi might go against her for Lakshmi. Meanwhile, Ayush and Shalu enjoy a romantic conversation, unaware that Anushka is watching them in jealousy.
Lakshmi later confronts Rishi, arguing with him over his actions. She urges him to leave, warning that Dadi is approaching. Rishi, refusing to believe her, seizes the opportunity and kisses her cheek. Just then, Dadi arrives, and Rishi quickly steps away. Seeing their closeness, Dadi expresses her happiness and blesses them, wishing for their lifelong union. Rishi, delighted by her words, thanks Dadi before playfully kissing Lakshmi again.
