The episode starts with Malishka walking in the corridor when she sees Rishi sleeping while holding Lakshmi’s hand. Malishka gets worried. She tries to open the door, but it’s locked. She decides to complain to Neelam and leaves. Aanchal sees Malishka and asks her what happened and why she looks worried. Malishka says she is going to wake up Neelam to complain. She says Rishi and Lakshmi are sleeping in the same bed with the kids. Aanchal asks Malishka not to disturb Neelam at this time. Malishka says, “Lakshmi is taking my family, and I can’t let her do it.” Aanchal advises Malishka to sleep and start her battle tomorrow. Malishka reluctantly agrees and goes to her room.
Lakshmi performs Pooja to God and gives Aarti to Neelam. Neelam tells Lakshmi that she will do the pooja first in her own home. Lakshmi agrees and gives Aarti to everyone. Dadi defends Lakshmi, but Neelam says that the Mandir and kitchen hold great importance to a woman as they are what make this house a home. Dadi replies that this is exactly what Lakshmi has been doing. Neelam reminds her that Lakshmi is just a guest. The kids come downstairs, and Lakshmi asks if their fever has reduced. Neelam becomes worried for her grandchildren and asks them what happened. The kids say they are fine and ask Lakshmi when they can bring a fish tank home. Neelam questions the need for a fish tank, saying it has never been kept in the house before. The kids suggest placing it in the garden. Neelam receives a call and steps aside to answer.
The kids ask Lakshmi again when they can bring the aquarium. Lakshmi says she has already ordered it and reminds them that it must be placed only on the balcony. They agree. Malishka watches them from upstairs and becomes frustrated.
Rishi asks Ayush to help him choose a dress, but Ayush only confuses him more. Rishi throws him out of the room. Lakshmi comes in and asks what happened. Ayush explains that Rishi is confused about what to wear. He brings Lakshmi inside and asks her to choose a good outfit. Lakshmi asks if it’s for an official meeting, and Rishi confirms. Lakshmi selects a formal suit and gives it to Rishi. Rishi thanks her, and Lakshmi leaves.
At the dining table, Paro and Rohan tell the family that they have arranged fish food. Neelam and the others ask Rishi to eat breakfast, but he refuses. Lakshmi scolds Rishi for skipping dinner and breakfast. Rishi agrees to eat. Malishka and Neelam look on. Malishka feels her presence in the house is becoming insignificant. She decides to make Lakshmi leave the Oberoi mansion. Rishi and Ayush eat breakfast and rush to their meeting. Malishka leaves without eating. Neelam signals Aanchal to take care of Malishka, and Aanchal agrees. Neelam comments that something is on Malishka’s mind.
Malishka takes her laptop from the cupboard. Anushka comes in and tells her that Neelam is suspicious about her thoughts. Neelam comes there and confronts Malishka. Malishka says she is worried about Neelam. She adds that Lakshmi is going to win the case, and wonders what will happen to Rohan when Lakshmi and Paro leave the house. Lakshmi makes the kids drink their milk and then heads to the kitchen. Rohan and Paro start playing. Lakshmi thinks Rohan and Paro are like real brother and sister. She is worried about the upcoming court hearing.
