The episode starts with Malishka trying on her new dress, which she really likes. She tries a blue dupatta with her dress. Sonal advises Malishka to be cautious. Malishka asks what she means, and Sonal reminds her that this is the blue dupatta that Master ji warned them about.
A flashback shows Sonal examining the blue dupatta while Master ji warns her to be careful, explaining that he has hidden gunpowder in the dupatta. Sonal asks why it isn’t visible, and Master ji explains that he carefully concealed the gunpowder in the border so that no one would notice it. Sonal questions why Lakshmi’s dupatta is here. Malishka responds that she doesn’t know, but thinks her dupatta should have been switched with Lakshmi’s. Together, Malishka and Sonal go to Lakshmi’s room to swap the dupattas. They find the door locked from the inside, with Lakshmi in the bathroom. Malishka wonders how to make the switch, and Sonal suggests sneaking in through the window. Malishka agrees.
Sonal sneaks through the window into Lakshmi’s room and swaps the dupattas, but her dress gets tangled on a nail. Noticing Sonal’s delay, Malishka climbs through the window and asks Sonal what’s taking so long. Sonal untangles herself and remarks that Lakshmi’s and Malishka’s dupattas look the same, making it hard to tell which one contains the gunpowder. Malishka checks the dupatta and confirms that her original one is safe. She tells Sonal the swap was unnecessary and suggests they leave quickly.
As they’re about to leave, Lakshmi exits the bathroom and sees Malishka, who quickly makes an excuse for being in the room. Sonal urges Malishka to leave, suggesting they go attend the pooja. Malishka agrees, and they leave. Suspicious, Lakshmi wonders why Malishka was really there.
Elsewhere, Parvati and Rohan urge Avinash and Ayush to hurry up and join them. Avinash jokes that he’s not young enough to run around anymore. Ayush teases Avinash, saying he was only walking slowly to support him, otherwise, he would have run quickly. Parvati and Rohan laugh at their bickering, teasing them for acting like children. They suggest lighting firecrackers, but Shalu intervenes, saying they should wait until after the Diwali pooja. Harleen agrees, and Rohan and Parvati decide to wait.
Rishi sees Lakshmi coming downstairs and is mesmerized by her appearance. He tells her she looks beautiful. Lakshmi teases him, asking if he’s flirting with her. Rishi denies it, and Lakshmi playfully comments on him before walking away. Parvati overhears and wonders what “flirting” means.
Meanwhile, Anushka instructs the servants, but they see Lakshmi approaching and turn to her for direction. Lakshmi tells them what to do, and Anushka observes from a distance.
Anushka then confronts Malishka, complaining that Lakshmi is acting like the daughter-in-law and everyone is treating her that way. She warns Malishka to do something about Lakshmi. Determined, Malishka decides to teach Lakshmi a lesson. She notices Shalu laughing with Ayush, Avinash, and the children. Malishka tells Anushka to focus on her own situation, as it seems Shalu has won Avinash’s admiration. Anushka leaves, and Sonal advises Malishka to concentrate on Rishi. Malishka then notices Rishi playfully teasing Lakshmi.
