The episode starts with Malishka getting ready to burn Lakshmi’s dupatta, but she suddenly feels nauseous. Malishka drops the diya and rushes to the washroom. Sonal wonders what happened to Malishka and follows her.
Balwinder tells Bablu about Masterji selling gunpowder. Balwinder asks a passerby where Masterji’s shop is, and the passerby directs him to Sony’s tailor shop. Balwinder thanks the passerby. He arrives at Masterji’s shop, where Masterji is talking to the gunpowder seller over the phone. Masterji accidentally reveals that he put gunpowder in a dupatta at Malishka’s order. Balwinder overhears this and realizes it’s Malishka’s plan to kill Lakshmi. He leaves immediately.
Malishka runs into Shalu, who is about to fall but is caught by Ayush. Malishka apologizes to Shalu and hurries to the washroom, with Sonal following her.
Anushka arrives and sees Ayush and Shalu together. She tells Ayush that Neelam is calling him, and he leaves. Anushka then warns Shalu to stay away from Ayush, reminding her that Ayush is her husband. She threatens to reveal Shalu’s feelings for Ayush if she doesn’t keep her distance.
Lakshmi tries to light a diya, but it’s blown out by the wind. Rishi shields the diya with his hand to protect it. Aanchal observes Rishi and Lakshmi together, thinking they make a perfect couple and wishing she had a partner like that.
Karishma complains to herself. Aanchal asks Karishma what’s wrong, and Karishma admits feeling jealous, commenting on Aanchal’s freedom. Aanchal remarks that having a perfect life partner would be wonderful. Karishma dismisses the idea, saying there’s no such thing. Aanchal looks at Rishi and Lakshmi and tells Karishma she thinks they make a perfect couple. Harleen joins in, saying it’s good they at least admit Rishi and Lakshmi are perfect together. Harleen explains that no one is perfect; Lakshmi forgave Rishi for many things he did in the past, and Rishi came to appreciate Lakshmi’s greatness, which is why they’re together now. Karishma asks Harleen to stop praising Lakshmi and walks away, followed by Aanchal.
In the washroom, Malishka wonders why she’s feeling nauseous so often. Sonal asks from outside what’s wrong. Malishka says she’s been vomiting and doesn’t know why. Sonal asks what Malishka ate, and Malishka responds sarcastically. Later, Malishka drops a toothbrush, and when she picks up a child’s toothbrush, she momentarily thinks it’s a pregnancy test kit and recalls her past interactions with Balwinder. She tells herself that it couldn’t possibly be true.
Bablu asks Balwinder why he thinks Malishka put gunpowder in a dupatta to kill Lakshmi. Balwinder explains that he knows Malishka well and comments on her behavior. He then takes Bablu to the Oberoi mansion.
Rano notices Aanchal and walks away. Rano and Lakshmi accidentally bump into a waiter, who spills juice on Lakshmi’s dupatta. Rano scolds the waiter, but Lakshmi dismisses him and goes to clean the stain.
Later, Malishka comes out of the washroom. Sonal questions her, asking what she’s hiding. Malishka denies hiding anything. Sonal reminds Malishka that she’s her best friend and will sense if something’s wrong. She tells Malishka to confide in her when she’s ready and leaves. Afterward, Malishka throws her dupatta aside and returns to the washroom, feeling breathless.
